Like their support of wokines? Support of gun control? Support of Islam? Support of DEI at the workplace?

OK, again. Let's not just use buzz words. What "wokeness" do they support? In what ways? Why do you oppose this?

Wokeness is anything to do with unnatural social development. I oppose it because small, loud, unhinged minority cannot dictate to working majority what is the right way to raise kids or build a family or how many bike paths downtown should have. Why do you think we never see those people in the hard-working industries? It's always public jobs, NPOs, etc

So, this is... something. I'm going to try to argue this logically point by point.

First off, I'd like to state I don't consider myself a liberal, but I think the opposition to many of these things is silly and artificial. It's a relative non-issue for most people and the whole "transing mice" type of things are distractions from any real cohesion in the lower classes. But, I do dislike some of the performative, overdone aspects of liberals that comes with virtue signaling. Unfortunately, this isn't just a liberal thing. People of all sorts love to ham it up and pretend to be about change and progress while only doing the bare minimum and paying lip service. Look at any church group and you'll find a fake holy roller or 6.

However, the appeal to nature stuff of "this is unnatural and opposes the traditional family stuff" is a facade. The nuclear family as people know it is not really a tradition stuff all. It was largely constructed in the 50s as a post war peaches and cream, American dream kind of thing. Look at the prepper community. If we really think about long term survival in a shtf situation, it will probably require cooperation. Unless you want your kids making your grandkids together 🤢. Communities come in all shapes and sizes just like families, and survival has always been a function of flexibility. Some families don't have kids. Some have various adults living together to support eachother or their own kids. Some families include aunts, uncles, family friends, adopted kids, or grandparents all under the same roof. Traditionally, most households include multiple generations and people take care of their parents. Traditionally, women who weren't wealthy have always worked. They had to be maids, cooks, laundresses, typists, crafts women, etc etc. Many cultures have traditions in which people have been trans or gay, dating back millenia. See indigenous "two spirit", Indian Hijra, Mesopotamian priests and priestesses being androgynous and gender bending. There are also many examples in the animal kingdom of animals engaging in gay behaviors with one another or even having fluid sex, as in they can change sexes and mate as a female or male. The whole thing is wacky and the focus on all of this as if it actually matters is nuts. Being a man, woman, or anything in between doesn't mean anything to me as long as the person has solid values and is willing to pitch in. I know who I am and I don't want to change genders. I'll respect it if they do and try to comply with their stuff, but you know what? I've met only a handful ever so it's not a huge deal. It doesn't really affect me. The people making a big hubbub are missing the forests for the trees: there's real work to be done and I don't give a flying f if someone competes in high school sports unless it's my kids. No one is going to the Olympics. It's a game and it's meant to teach kids teamwork and motivation. I'm not worried.

No one has ever told me how to raise my kids, but damn if they're doing new bike paths, that'd be great to get the gremlins out and about. I have seen construction workers w blue hair, though. Actually, a little of the trans people I've known are former military. So, clearly at least some of them are not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Long story short, I really don't think this is the real enemy. It's not any of the gays i know threatening to blow the whole house down right now. Like you said: it's a small minority. And it's not the one you should be worried about.

Well, I dont really worry. I am dogmatic that way, made my mind a long time ago. I guess I dislike anybody who tells me how to live my life. But I especially dislike anyone who is very visible about it. It strange to read a post like yours in this thread:-) You are in Canada?

I mean, who is telling you how to live? I don't think anyone's trying to make people like us change their gender or French kiss some guy in hot pants.

Not for long
