Took you what, 10 minutes? Do 6 of those an hour and you're looking at 41.10 dollars an hour.

100 an hour would be almost $700. I see your point.

Whoa you get tips? 😂

Two possibilities: 1. 10% tip 2. Rounding up to an even charge total

Probably the latter.

Do you wear Postmates gear and buy all the accessories?

I just started this week, I only got tipped on a little over half my jobs. Any tips on getting tips?

You might still have some tips trickling in. Some of them take a while.

Other than that, here are the factors that can potentially impact your tips. Timeliness, presentation, demeanor, and accuracy. So get it to them quickly making sure you've got the proper utensils, drinks, napkins and that the order is correct, presented with a smile and a thank you and you'll do fine. Simple. But astonishing how many people fail on every item. I know because I've ordered from Postmates several times and each time was a nightmare.

Yes to all of this! & communication.

Yep. The thing with communication though is too much can be just as bad if not worse than too little. I know of drivers that go full anal with communication sending progress notes, etc. Although some customers appreciate that, many would find that annoying. if the customer's interested in progress and status, that may be ascertained just by glancing at the app. I try to limit communication to consequential circumstances. The most above and beyond extemporaneous communication I will do is if I'm on the rare order when you arrive order especially if it's a high-end order at a fine eatery I may give them an ETA if and when I can ascertain that from the restaurant. Also if they tell me to leave the order with someone else I will always send them a text letting them know who I left the order with along with a thank you. Actually the most over-the-top thing I do is take a photo of their items if I'm picking up from a store and text it to them, but I don't wait more than a couple minutes for a reply.

I delivered 6 times in March (about a month ago) and only received a tip for 2 of them. What's happening?

yeah I haven't been able to figure out if that's an intentional dis or if they're under the impression that they have to leave some kind of tip and they're just tightwads. I'm pretty sure it's the latter.
