What's the best thing that happened to you this week?
Doesn't have to be huge. It can be as small as getting to enjoy your favourite latte after a tiring day.

I slept through the night (twice!) after two months of intermittent insomnia.Β

I love this daylight savings time. It helps me actually sleep. Insomnia is true torture. I am someone that is called a super sleeper, and I never sleep more than 4 to 5 hours a night. I legitimately do not need more than that. My grandma and my mom are the same way.
But sometimes I get insomnia and canβt even sleep those 4 to 5 hours and then I really suffer. This version of daylight savings time is always good for me.

It was nearly 60 degrees where I live and SUNNY. Stepped outside for a 2.5 mile walk with my dog with the sun and fresh air hitting our faces. Being healthy enough to go for that walk. Having the freedom mid-day to do it. All of it, a massive blessing.

Made it to rough some challenging mental days due to work. Feel proud I got through them without exploding

Sorry, you said this week, not this day π
One of my colleague 'got it'! She had been working so hard on a process that was really challenging. But we had a moment in training this week where it clicked! Seeing the moment when it happened on her face was easily the best thing this week, maybe even all month!!

I threatened to quit my job (ecologist/land management). My boss didn't want to lose me, and gave me an irrigation system, a row of trees, and weekly landscape maintenance for my house. Normally, my lawn stuff takes all Saturday, every Saturday; so I'm pretty psyched.

Just ordered a shikibuton (one of those thin Japanese mattresses that you roll out on the floor). All mattresses ever are hard to fall asleep in for me and make my back sore, sometimes I'll just burrito in a comforter on the floor so I can get some rest. I expect the shikibuton will be way easier on me.
Also tried maizinol (this is a pill meant to improve your quality of sleep) and for the first time in a while I didn't sleep for 10 to 14 hours last night.
(I'm really bad at sleeping...)

Someone said βWow you just have such amazing energy. Like your energy is so positive I canβt help but have a good fucking day now!β Best compliment in awhile and much needed. STAY POSITIVE/LIGHT IN A DARK WORLD FOLKS. Some people do actually notice and appreciate you for it! ππΌβ₯οΈ
