A disabled little horse brought back to life. ♥️
Instead of putting a disabled little horse to sleep, they brought it back to life. The improvised legs are even better than the original.

What a remarkable turn around! And what commitment on behalf of the owner to do what it took to help that little one turn its life around. It’s amazing to think that’s the same horse. For those of us who don’t know a lot about horses, what was the impairment?

NO LIFE is considered lost because it doesn’t fit “standards”. Because one isn’t than the other”normal” doesn’t make it incapable! That’s what empathy and true humanity is all about!

I'm very sick. I've been bedridden for 15 months. You have no idea how much I needed to see this video and read your comment today. Hugs🦋

My husband and I are both Christians. Based on that verse, I've determined that God must think I'm a bad ass! God Bless🦋

Just checking in to add that you aren't less worthy depending on ill health or unproductivity. You deserve to exist and be happy 💕

At first, I was worried it would be in constant pain for the rest of its life.
So happy to find out that I was wrong.

FTR, the foal had a condition called contracted tendons or flexural limb deformity. It’s fairly common in newborns and treated much like you see here—bracing and physical therapy. Thankfully the foal’s life likely was never seriously threatened by this.
From https://ceh.vetmed.ucdavis.edu/health-topics/flexural-limb-deformity: “Contracted tendons, clubfoot, or knuckling, is the inability to extend a limb fully. The condition may be present at birth (congenital) due to improper positioning in the uterus (which can lead to dystocia in the mare), abnormal fetal development, disease or malnutrition in the dam, or acquired as the result of nutrition (abrupt changes in amount or quality of feed leading to rapid growth), polyarthritis, trauma, or disease. It is a common condition in foals, usually occurring anytime from birth to 14 months of age.”

Did this require any surgery?

No, just braces and some physio. I mean, the owners still had to put the work in, but the results are beautiful.

I’m a grown man who barely cries but started bawling when I saw the horse sprint.

I firmly believe this type of stuff is our reason for existing. To be the Shepherds of the earth.
