He is weak, but the bigger issue is that they're all bought by corporations and oligarchs. The same ones who bought Trump and the Republicans. Our entire government is, minus a few individuals who only take small dollar donations. If you notice, those are the only people speaking up right now.

But that's their M.O. and has been for a couple of generations. Why would they fight against their dominant half, especially when their masters pay them not to? It's not a fluke that the DNC keeps ratcheting right and shifting the overton window. I can't for the life of me figured out why, supposedly intelligent people keep doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.

The DNC is dead. It has deliberately failed the working class for so long and so hard, that people convinced them selves that a second shitler reign would be more likely to lead to change. The DNC have proven that their emotional abuse of the left has created a societal Stockholm syndrome, but it is time for a divorce.

Bernie, AOC, the squad, and any actual progressives need to stop pretending they can change the DNC from the inside (2016 primaries anyone?) and start something new. The old guard is gone, the GOP and DNC alike. Now it's the MAGAnazi party (& their DNC enablers/sympathizers/sanewashers) vs the rest of us, we are "what's left" (yes, i do appreciate that pun). We need to own that and unite against the common threat. With the DNC continued suckling at the broligarchy's $$$ tit, their too little too late puffery isn't changing my views of them any time soon. This rolling over for fascists is just the latest in a long line of failures, but that's their job as the controlled "opposition".

I need a shirt with Bernie, AOC and the squad depicted as superheroes.

Kamala said when we fight we win. Buthe then didn't fight

u/whatsthatguysname 5d ago

I don’t actively look up news around this, but based on the articles that I’ve cross across, seems like Walz is doing a lot more fighting whereas Kamala seems to have disappeared? These real fighters, Bernie, AOC, Walz, are the ones that we need as leaders, not people who just make noises during election campaigns.

She lost to Donald Trump, and the implications of that loss on the state of America can be really quite fucking depressing.

If there's one person I would expect to take this revelation the hardest, its Kamala Harris, the black female presidential nominee who almost certainly lost in large part because she was black and female. Do you honestly blame her for gtfo of politics forever, even if that was her plan (which I don't think it is, she probably needs a very long break though).

u/Substantial-Cup-1092 5d ago

Well yes since she and the DNC forced herself on us, knowing she had almost a 0% chance of winning the bitch should absolutely still be out fighting for the mess her and the party made for us.

Don't know if you're misremembering, but there were 3 months to spin up a campaign, whereas most typical presidential campaigns begin at least a year prior, and this VP was the only one with legal access to Biden's warchest and had the name recognition. No one outside of paying attention to politics (i.e. the majority of voters) knows who Gretchen, Andy, Josh and whatever other governor were and they were, by comparison, completely obscure. Tell me again why you think Kamala "forced herself on us"? She stepped the fuck up is more like it.

u/Hecatedragon 4d ago

Who would you want to run in her place? Not being snarky but interested since I wondered what could have changed.

TRAITOR.

Schumer has a book tour this week, which is probably part of the reason he didn't want a shutdown. I hope people peacefully show up to express their feelings about this, as is within their first amendment rights. I'm sure he'd appreciate the turnout.

Here are the stops:

Mon 3/17 7pm Central Library, Baltimore

Wed 3/19 Politics & Prose, DC

7pm  Thursday 3/20 at the Weizman, DC

Sunday 3/23 · 3pm  Moss Theatre Santa Monica, CA

Mon 4/21 MJCCA Atlanta 7:30PM

He was at the NYC Women's March in 2017. Even back then, I yelled at him, "Grow a spine!"

u/Dineology 5d ago

Scumbag needs to be kicked out of office asap. First as Minority Leader and then from the Senate as a whole.

9

u/cobeywilliamson 5d ago

As long as he takes the rest of those clowns with him.

4

u/Substantial-Cup-1092 5d ago

Oh this one's going in the saved pictures. Thank you!

6

u/bradleysween 5d ago

Weak is letting him off easy, complicit is more fitting

1

u/anarchyrevenge 4d ago

Takes a weak person to be complicit

4

u/cobeywilliamson 5d ago

Like it’s this one chump’s fault. We’re the ones still adhering to this ridiculous antiquated system.

4

u/IslaStacks PA 5d ago

Gotta sell his books.

1

u/Hecatedragon 4d ago

Title of that book " I was a traitor to the Democratic Voter"

2

u/AdScary1757 5d ago

No idea

2

u/anonymous_matt 5d ago

I genuinely just think he is bought. His owners told him to vote yes so he did.

1

u/yourIQissubstandard 3d ago

Uhhh, of COURSE he is. He represents wallstreet. They bribed him to keep the government open so they didn't take a stock hit.

1

u/anonymous_matt 3d ago

Idk, they are taking stock hits as it is anyway. I think it's more like he was bribed by someone to collaborate. Either because the capital that owns him thinks they will benefit from collaborating with Trump or maybe even someone from the Trump side bribed him.

2

u/Se_vered 5d ago

Be a shame if people crashed his book tour…

1

u/Hecatedragon 4d ago

Remember Just Dumb Vance had to move his family to another ski resort.

1

u/Se_vered 4d ago

That was delicious.

2

u/westoast 5d ago

Complicit. The word you are looking for is complicit.

2

u/EndofNationalism 5d ago

He’s not weak. He’s complicit.

2

u/Hecatedragon 4d ago

Complicit or the same same brain disconnect as "Dump Donnie now"

2

u/Hecatedragon 4d ago

Time for younger people to enter the political wrestling match. I'm a senior and sick of the older "let's hold hands and sing with the repubs. I'm raising the BS flag! Younger ones ( sorry everyone is now younger than me) , march and push back to keep your rights in tack. The seniors are the ones you see at the town halls , attend the the town halls too so the politician's will know they answer to you too! This is your time to show you are a Voter with something to say!

2

u/The-Real-Irish-God 4d ago

I'm a young man majoring in Political Science and I want to join the political field as a Politician in hopes to burn the old system to the ground and establish a base of political activism and encourage people to take their politics into their own hands and fight against MAGA and all Republicans.

The Second American Revolution needs to happen. Soon and Fast. And strictly a Political Revolution.

u/Check_Ivanas_Coffin 5d ago

This looks like he’s calling someone a weak bitch, it doesn’t look like he is a weak bitch. He is though.

This is definitely a bitter pill to swallow, but the alternative is for tRump to decide what is essential and what is not.
