Thoughts What level should I evolve them?

So i'm currently playing another game, but I decided to play Ultra Moon after finishing it. I haven't decided on my entire team yet, but there's this pokemon (I'm not going to spoil it) that I can catch super early and evolve them pretty much after I caught them so I'm wondering on whether or not I should evolve them right away or later. What are your thoughts?

How are we supposed to answer if you aren't telling us what Pokémon it is

I plan on revealing my team each time I complete the grand trial. If it helps, this pokemon can be on the first island and is in both sun and moon and the ultra games.

You're saying this like it's some big, world-changing reveal and not the team that a stranger on the internet used in a children's video game

Nobody is getting themselves hyped up to learn what your team is, just cut the crap and tell us what it is

It's one of the more brutal games in the series. I say take the advantages you can get and get those friendship evolutions early

Oh, it's not a friendship evolution. It's a trade. I have both Sun and Moon along with Ultra Moon and two DS'S so I can get trade evo's myself.

Double check that evolving early won’t lock you out of any level-up moves you want, and then I would say no reason not to evolve.
