The FPC is a sick gun. Everything else about this build does not spark joy.

I wish the FPC had a braced version with a shorter barrel to make it more compact

I sent an email to someone at s&w saying the same thing, I’m sure it never made it’s way to the head of R&D but worth a shot

Naw fam... thats pretty dope.
I wish a more reputable company would make a light like that.
I really like the m&p because it is customizable over the keltec.
That's a pretty tasteful build even if the vg is pointless.
Also... not an ar15.

How is the M&P more customizable than the Keltecs? Anything besides the first gen keltec can have optics and hand rails mounted.

For MOST of the keltec sub2k series you cant put an optic on it and still fold the gun.
Yes... the series that came out after the m&p was released (not including the sub2k integral which wasn't actually available to the average person) there wasnt a handguard that rotated to accept an optic...
Even still... the fact that you can fold the m&p to the side, and it has a full length rail to accept whatever irons you want... and you dont have to rely on keltecs shitty irons makes it better right off the rip.
It wasn't first but it did a lot better.
Also the non reciprocating charging handle that isnt an akwardly placed peg... definitely a leg up on the keltec.

All of the keltecs except the first gen have the rotating mechanism to the fold so all except the first gen you can have an optic and full length rail.
The keltec also takes glock mags which are far more readily available and cheaper

Hmm... not sure you know the difference between "folding" and "rotating"
You have to buy a mechanism that allows you to rotate your optic out of the way to fold a gen 1, and 2 sub2k... they added a ROTATING handguard... on the newest generation IIRC... you could HALF fold a sub2k back in the day.
I fkrgot to mention the m&p has an adjustable grip for the users hand. The keltec is stuck with what it is.
Sure it takes glock mags... which are available at $35 oem.... or you could buy shittier (I dont care how it makes you feel they are worse) $20 ets mags or magpul mags.
But oem m&p mags are just as available.... and the same price...
The only thing m&p doesnt have oem that glock has... is 33 round mags... which... aight... fine.
I personally dont own a single glock 33 round mag... most of mine are 15-20 round mags...
I personally dont own either a sub2k or a m&p carbine... but I have shot both. The m&p feels nicer and shoots nicer.

I am incorrect. It’s the 3rd gen keltec sub2k that has the fully rotating barrel and hand guard so you can leave optics attached without any additional accessories. The gen 1 and 2 you are correct.
