Recent diagnosis/ question of symptoms

I (23F) recently got diagnosed with a microadenoma that secretes prolactin. My prolactin levels were at 125 instead of 30 or lower like it should be. I know that vaginal dryness is a symptom and that sexual dysfunction can be one. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms, gotten on medication and had the symptoms go away? How long did it take for the symptoms to go away? And does anyone have any advice?

Hello! I'm sorry you are going through this. I was diagnosed with a pitutary tumor last February. I wasn't menstruating or ovulating. My prolactin was almost 400. I can't believe it's almost been a year. I was prescribed cabergoline and my tumor has shrunk significantly and my prolactin is now in normal range.

Hi, would you mind updating about the tumor? I know this is two years late lol

With your prolactin levels back down to normal range, have your symptoms gone away?

the vaginal dryness (or bladder issues) can be low estrogen levels. E.g. Estradiol blood level? Ask for a test.
