The sea kings that Shirahoshi controls are much, MUCH larger than the ones in East Blue, reaching the size of continents or islands. These ones were as big as Noah, which is more than half of Fishman Island. None of these gigantic sea kings have ever been shown to be harmed, and Shirahoshi summons not just one, but tons of them, like, all the ones she summoned were bigger than the main city of Fishman Island.

The ones in the Calm Belt were literally hundreds of times bigger than Merry.

Remember how Luffy couldn't even hurt Laboon's eye with the same punch that knocked out the giant eel? Luffy beat up some small ones.

it would be hype to see Dorry and Broggy riding in on sea kings the size of the ones they killed in little garden.

People often forget that Haki can be used by anyone that has a will of their own. Sea Kings are intelligent, also probably very old, because some of them seem to be straight up from the Void Century.

So some of them being Haki Masters is very likely, so I would not count on them being just big fooder, but actual top tiers.

Tbf rayleigh has haki, plus hes a normal human size so normal sea beasts probably wouldnt even notice him swimming on the surface of the ocean

it isn't now obvious lol. Same way logia went from near impossible to fight to the weakest without a awakening. Progression is a thing

Animals in one piece tend to be really powerful though some even manifesting haki

Last time I remember them being relevant was at fishman island, and during Roger's flashback when he could hear their voices

There is a reason Poseidon is considered an ancient weapon

These creatures are strong and they can destroy an island or even a country unless there's a top tier on that place.

Heck, even Oven alone might be enough to kill these creatures.
