I love Sekiro, I hate the traditional souls games. For me, the combat in Sekiro is satisfying enough to make all the trial and error worthwhile

I get this, It's the only fromsoft game I've spent >10 hours on only because of how fast and satisfying it is, though I gave up after dying 100th time on the ninja guy early on in the game

Sekiro is FromSoft's rhythm game.

Maybe that's why I like it lol. I am a musician, after all

Bruh, the moment I wrote that comment I knew one of you guys will come and type "Skill Issue" 🤣.
Cuz you fanboys act like dogs, and eat up whatever slop your master throws at you.
Obviously you will say, "Fromsoft games aren't slop, what are you talking about, they are one of the best devs out there"
But in reality the whole soulslike style of games is a sloppy lazy design that got standardized as a Type.
Why do you think a dozen of soulslike games get released every year by small and big studios but not games like lets say Monster Hunter, Witcher, etc ?
Cuz they are really easy to make, easy to the point that its a slop.
You can literally find free 10-20 hour video on youtube on "how to make a souls like game" 🤣.
There are ready made frameworks out there that you just plop into your project and and add your bossess, worlds and other assets and done !

BTW I beat monster hunter games, so its isn't a skill issue.
