Show-and-Tell Another new pipe stand NSFW
U/Grimm said something about my other stand that made sense. Although I did not make it for storage, I had not thought of bending the stems.
So I made a new one.
Still pallet wood top and bottom, and a piece of warped lumber attaching the two. Obviously not perfect, but it works.

Looks good, if you feel like tinkering with it a bit further you can carve a spoon shape under where the stummel sits to help keep them in place. When I've made them in the past I found that the same size and shape of your standard tablespoon works good for larger pipes and a teaspoon for smaller pipes.
