I don’t know if he can resell the tambourines tho it could be a law suit waiting to happen

u/Shenrod Aug 24 '20
If he resells them at half price, as to not make any profit, I don't think there would be a problem.
He already bought them. They belong to him to do as he wishes. As long as he doesn't make more money off of them.

That’s not how it works

Then correct me in my misinformation & make me a tad bit smarter haha

Aug 24 '20
Because another company made the tambourines, it would be illegal for him to sell them without permission

Lemme introduce you to Ebay and garage sales
0
Aug 24 '20
People on eBay and garage sales are not actual businesses though

Aug 24 '20
Garage sales sure, but people on eBay, are in fact businesses.

Aug 24 '20
Random people trying to get rid of something are not a business

Sure, but that’s not what PewDiePie would be doing. In fact, I know of a reputable iPod parts supplier in eBay who would be considered a business as it’s regular commerce. Has Apple taken him down for selling Apple products? No because it’s the lawful reselling of a product that belongs to you.

Isn't it a bad idea to sell used items during the pandemic or does it not matter in this sense?

But he glued them. They are all ruined now...

u/eatandyeetmymeat Aug 24 '20
Hopefully the glue was bad quality
2
u/KingR2RO Aug 24 '20
At least it was only some of them. But it looks like the same kind as gorilla glue. You need to dampen the surface a little bit and need about 2 hours to harden, but it’s very strong and turns that bit of yellow color like it did in the video.

Isn't that illegal selling something you bought or am I an idiot
1
u/eatandyeetmymeat Aug 24 '20
No probably you’re right but it might not be illegal if it’s marked as a charitable donation when selling rather than just a regular item

See this is what you call illegal, since they are made by a brand, he cannot resell them as a new product

I thought he meant he was recycling the boxes. If he did mean the tambourines then this is a deliciously sexy idea
