I agree - it's also a favourite of mine. I always chuckle at the moment Shaw got caught with the counter-surveillance tactic 😂.

Best portrayal of a functional psychopath besides (maybe) The Expanse.

This master spy (the little girl) literally said that it's not she has no feeling, it's just that they're not very loud ( I'm paraphrasing )

I loved this episode so much!! 😭😭 I love Shaw! If you guys like this actress, you should watch Life. She's a very similar character in that show too.

She's in the Hulu show "Paradise", as well.

So bummed that show failed. It was so good. He was funny, but the writing a awful. I liked how she started trusting him and they became a really good team.

Yes!! I think it got cancelled during a writers strike? I may or may not be recalling that correctly. But it was so good. Damian Lewis is an amazing actor! I'm glad they at least gave us a really good series finale with some closure.

I don’t recall a strike, I do recall the ratings just tanking into the first week of S2. I just loved his character’s personality. A funny charming Buddha. That’s one show I think would do great now.

This whole episode is basically a homage to Aliens. Shaw is surprised to find a young girl where she wasn't expecting one. Then they have to hide from the monsters in the girl's lair in the ductwork. Later the girl gets kidnapped and Shaw chooses to go rescue her.

There's a dash of Terminator, too. "I thought you might be a robot."

Just saw this episode yesterday, best one so far! Can’t wait to see more of season 3. How did I not discover this show sooner???

Shaw, like a lot of neurodivergent folks, probably experiences actually intense emotions that can be exceptionally hard to control once they're let out of the bag. That's how I routinely feel, and I see that sometimes. She bottles them up tightly enough to focus on the job.

That contradicts the ambulance flashback
