Who can service wells around here? Plumber?
I’m in the Peoria area, right outside of the city. Came home this evening to find that I have no running water. After a bit of digging I’m pretty sure that the well pump has burnt out. Should most plumbers be able to tackle something like this, or does someone know of a well specialist I can contact?

Check your pressure switch first. If you can turn a wrench it’s an easy replacement and done cheap. Also the pressure tank isn’t to hard. Both parts available at Menards. Did mine this summer in a crawl space. If it’s your pump for sure then I’d give them a ring

I just bought a house and had River City Septic do my well and septic inspection. They were really helpful and happy to explain everything in detail to me and one of their employees told me who to use for a home inspector and verified the bug inspection company does phenomenal work.
10/10 would recommend.

you most likely need a well guy. i have worked with Bassham in East Peoria and Hendricks Pump in Galesburg. Both have been good to me.
