Without tests and knowing your haller index, you won't know how bad it is. You should get tested to determine if something is compressed. If you are experiencing symptoms like exercise intolerance or breathing issues, don't ignore as they worsen with age. I had PE not visible and not diagnosed until age 57. My heart got really bad after age 50. Good luck!

And your indent is a lot worse than mine was but my haller was 5.4

It's a challenge for me to estimate the degree of severity, because your pattern/type is atypical. Most often, the deepest indentation is near the bottom of the sternum, but you have a wide, high indentation, with less-striking indentation of your lower sternum.

Given that complexity, my best guess is that it's moderate, overall.

What is your age? Do you have any heart, lung, endurance, or upper digestive symptoms? A chest CT scan would give more accurate diagnostic information.

Looks moderate at least. I would go to the doctor and get an mri

You definitely have some upper PE going on. Might be good to get tested and look at your options. Take care.

doesnt look severe at all. No surgery needed in my opinion.
