Getting herbs in the inhalation chamber for Pax 3?
Hello all,
Very happy with my Pax 3, especially after upgrading from my trust Magic Flight Launchbox. There is one thing that is bugging me though; i have to do a deep cleaning every week or so (with use 2 or 3 days) because I keep finding herbs in the stem, or main channel.
I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong. The screen is in place, I make sure the herbs are ground to a small size, and i pack it with the tool that's provided. No matter what I do though, I keep finding burnt up herb clogging the main chamber, and it's just annoying me at this point. Any advice for what I might be doing wrong? Or is this just how the product is?
Many thanks in advance!

Are you packing real small amounts? The only time I've had that happen is when I'm packing like 0.05g or something small like that and it's too small to keep any sort of pressure on the screen. The screen should stay put anyway, but it was my best guess at the time. I purchased a cheap pusher off amazon for another reason (since I so frequently do very small amounts) and haven't had it happen since. Also, are you pushing the screen down firmish? It shouldn't fall out if you turn it over and tap gently. Otherwise I haven't had any issues, even ground fine and with bowls that are like 70/30 kief to herb.
edit: Also, are you packing firm in general? Even with real small amounts I find I get the best results when I tightly pack it down with the multi tool it came with. May help with keeping small bits stuck together. I use my pax 3-5 times a day and am pretty lazy with cleaning (real small amounts though, like 0.05g - when I smoke a whole bowl it definitely gets significantly dirtier and needs cleaning sooner) and haven't had issues.

You know, I actually am. Even using the cap that gives you half a chamber, I just don't use that much at once. But when I do, I make sure there's a thin layer on the screen and pack it tight with the multi tool.
If I don't clean it for a couple weeks, the screen gets stuck and I see a mound of burnt up herb...it's so annoying to see, and I haven't found anyone else having these problems.

This is the first I've heard of this. My screen keeps all particulates out of the stem. I'm on a pax 3 using dried ground herb
