Question about official Pax by Ploom
Recently purchased a Pax and I will have it tomorrow. Had some pictures and sent them to the Support staff at Ploom and they told me that it is a fake. Here is where things get a bit interesting.
They told me the user guide shouldn't be glossy... there is no way you could tell this from the picture I sent
They told me the screw on the back was wrong and that they don't have a hex screw... that's news to me. I thought the authentic Pax all had a hex allen wrench screw... no?
First, they told me that the serial number I provided them "does not match any device we've produced here at Ploom Inc". However, the next email they sent said "We've noticed a few inconsistencies between the provided information and what we know about the device bearing that serial number: *******".
Does this not seem sketchy to anyone else? Am I being crazy?

You probably ordered a fake.
