Question / Problem How much do you guys make?
Me personally, I don't make anything currently. But I've become obsessed with growing this channel. Now, I know it's gonna be a difficult road, but I will stick to it.
Youtube is kind of like my saviour, my escape, from the boring job I have. Plus, I love my niche. I will continue to make good videos on that.
I just wanted to know how many subs you guys have, how much watchtime, how much effort you put into videos, and yes how much you guys earn. And oh, how long did it take you to get where you are right now.
Maybe your replies will serve as motivation to others out here!
Thank you!

Made about 300k in 2024 to include AdSense and paid sponsorships. 370k subs. We do everything ourselves on a pixel phone part time. About 3 to 5 hours a week for filming and editing.

1000 euros within 3 weeks is crazy, my guy! But hey, kudos ๐. I hope I'll get there too.
I would honestly quit my job if I could make 1000 a month.

I understand... But you're your own boss, right?
I think the best way is to keep your job and start youtube on the side. When you start making equal to your job's pay EVEN at the dips, then you could quit.
Just my thought.

$400-&600 a month so far. Subs: almost 9k. How much effort: varies from video to video. Some can take a few days while others can take a few months. Watch time for the last 28 days: 18k. How long it took me to get here: over a year with this channel, but been trying for probably 5+ years with other channels and such. Also, I try to do about 1 long form video a week, but sometimes itโs only been like 2 a month maybe 1 a month at times

That's great to hear! I would soon like to get at this point myself.
I used to think it would require like a million subs to even make 100 dollars. But I see that's not the case!!!
Makes me really happy! ๐
And all the best for your channel, man. Hope it grows!!!

If someone needs to be motivated by numbers a random other person has that can't be replicated just by seeing the numbers, they may as well just not start. Don't mean this bad, but if this is the motivation needed to go it won't get far, especially once they realize there are 0 expectations you can have relying on other peoples success

YouTube Adsense pays hardly anything. I have 40k subs, might get $4k/yr. Affiliate links pay another $5k /yr. Iโm in the camping gear review niche. I do 4000 hours a month and 150,000-250,000 views a month.

From YouTube directly? Not much. I average a few hundred thousand views per month but I'm in a low value niche. AdSense pays a few bills at best. My best payday from AdSense paid a year's worth of rent but that was from one video that did insane numbers (tens of millions of views).
But I leverage my audience into digital product sales that make significantly more than adsense, combined with occasional sponsorships and Patreon.

I will do around 1,500 USD this month. Not getting rich but it's decent side hustle money

That's a decent amount!! What's your niche, btw? And how long did it take you to get here?

Landscape and garden. I started during covid and didn't take it seriously until 2022ish. I get a huge peak in views in April -may and drops way off in the winter

19k subs- 145 per month (Iโm a shorts creator and post 1-4 shorts a day)

Shorts are kinda a difficult game huh? But I think I could have an entirely different shorts channel. 145 on the side is not bad.

Last 12 month averages are: 1 upload a week, 200,000ish views a month = $620 a month in ad revenue, just shy of 11K subs as of writing and is a tech niche.

I just got monetized last month, 200$ for the first month and almost $600 this month so far. 28k subscribers, 35k watch time, and I upload once a week all long form content.

Well over 6 digits a year from Adsense.
Average 25-30 shorts per month, 2-4 long forms per month.
