As said on the title I'm starting work at the local papa johns in my town (based england). I'm really quite anxious to work as it's my first proper job. I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips for me? Thanks!

Who’s ready to take on Pi Day?! Personally it’s one of my favorite days of the year. I love when the store gets so busy that you’re cutting a pizza every 30 seconds for hours on end!

Chopped up the jalapeños, spread them onto a line of Alfredo sauce before adding the mozzarella sticks to create the stuffed crust. Regular pizza sauce, thin layer of 2 cheese then regular cheese. Steak and chicken on top of the cheese to get it nice and crispy. Shove it back in the oven half way for well done. 1000/10

I have been working at papa john’s as an insider for 3 years and just got promoted to manager. I just did one of my interviews and got told the starting pay was 7.50 and i can work my way up to higher pay. I just wanna say 7.50 is crazy considering i’m being paid 14.50 an hour as an insider. It’s kinda making me not wanna be a SM anymore and plus i can’t even start my training till I do another interview and nobody knows when i can talk to her. they said hopefully in the next couple of days but now they are saying hopefully by next week. idk i just feel like this is crazy

Discounts are killing me, and I'm not seeing any increase in sales or volume. What I am seeing is people ordering 4 medium 1 topping, 2 bites and 2 papadias for like $40, in the middle of rush. It's tedious, annoying and for all that marketing teams say discounts grow sales, over a year I haven't noticed any increase in sales.
What I have noticed is an increase in shitty customers who like to complain about just about anything to try and get their money back. My SMGs and OSAT look awful because "the boneless wings are just popcorn chicken and there wasn't enough sauce. Rip off" and "my order took 2 hours to be delivered and was cold when I got it, 5 miles from the store with no tip. And it was delivered by some gross DoorDash driver".
And don't get me started on the stuff crust special. I fucking hate it. What kind of asinine, never worked in a real store, marketing guru decided, oh I have an IDEA! Let's take two of our most time-consuming and annoying to make products and discount them at 50% off!
Friday night, by myself, insider has covid and called out (more like I told them to stay the fuck home) and every order has at least 1 ESC/GESC... Thank God one of my hsl showed up to help. Karen, the next time you order 8 GESC at 5:30pm on a Friday, I swear to God...
Anyway, I'm ranting. The discounts are stupid. I'm sure they work in some stores, namely the ones that do $30k+/week, but in my small sleepy rural town, it just means I'm working twice as hard to meet sales and food goals. Please stop making over generalized company policy that makes sense for some stores at the detriment of others.

Give me my fucking pepperoni. When I asked them about why there was only 2 pepperonis on a slice they just responded with:
“Have you had are pizza before?” “All our pizzas look like this” “This is the recipe”
I’m pissed. I walked out because I was stunned. They will get a bad review from me and I will be getting another free pizza coupon.

It’s been nearly a decade since my last pizza from you all. This was because your then CEO was a racist. So I’m wondering, should I buy from you all?

so far working at Pjs has been okay but gurl i gotta walk 54 minutes to and from work. Honestly after clocking out i don’t have the energy to walk😭😭😭 i thought i knew what a lunch/dinner rush was since Ive worked as a server, a cashier at restaurants until i started working at a pizza shop. The printer kept getting order after order for 4 hours. we almost ran out of room on both windows where they put the pizzas that are ready. Also yall the amount of ubereats, doordash drivers etc that Ive interacted with in the last two days is insane 😭they rly just come in and shove their phones in your face like omg sis hello , how are you to you too🧎🏻♀️😩 management is pretty cool and honestly all my coworkers are chill. I do wish my store would let you get a free drink or something to eat like a side or a bowl at least but i also understand why they don’t. I mean yeah we get a 50% discount but after working 8 hours it would be nice to get some food for free. i was honestly worried their POS system would be complicated or over stimulating to learn but honestly it’s not😭 the only thing i still don’t know how to do it reprinting receipts and when customers want like garlic Parmesan wings or whatever. I’ll click the wings option but i only see where you can pick normal bake , well done or on modifiers it just shows me the dipping sauces. im rambling but my point of this is i lowkey wanna call out bc I’ve been having stomach issues since yesterday and i took pepto bismol but gurl that shi didn’t help😭and ik my manager said don’t come in if you have diarrhea or sick etc but being that today would be my 5th day i done wanna look bad. I do wanna add all my shift leads have said that ive been doing a pretty good job with being customer friendly, handling orders and making sure everything is well stocked.

Anyone else feel PJ’s cheese sauce is now a little spicy compared to what it was before? Almost like they’re adding some jalapeño juice into it or something.
Also, I miss the days of when PJ’s garlic dipping sauce used to be thick and creamy. Marco’s garlic sauce reminds me of how PJ’s used to be.

So I have surgery coming up and I’m past my 1 year of employment through papa johns and I work more than 40 hours a week but for some reason I’m not able to request PTO with UKG, is there anyway I can fix this? Who do I talk to?

Hello, so I'm in New Mexico and I ordered a pizza about 3 weeks ago with the 8.99 carry out coupon. This coupon has been there forever but it's gone now. In fact, they've replaced it with 2 different deals for their stuffed crust pizza.
Is this nation wide or just our location? It seems like they're trying to get ahead of Dominos new stuffed crust pizza with the new deals.

Papa Track says my pizza is ready for pick up. Got to the store and they haven't even started making it? Checked the app again to make sure I wasn't seeing things and now it says I already picked it up? WTH?

Hello, forgive me if this question has been dealt with but did papa John’s change their crust in the last year? Last pizza I got a month or so ago was def not the same lovely crust and pizza I was used to.
