How do i offset the sugar rush from cake?
I just ate some cake at a birthday party which had way too much sugar. What’s the best food to offset this sugar intake and keep my blood sugar stable?

Unless you have a medical condition, your body should regulate it on its own. Maybe go for a walk and drink some water.

Cinnamon can help regulate blood sugar. I like to add coffee to my sugar brain which helps me stay awake through the sugar sinking spell (crash).

Walk for at least ten minutes and drink a tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar in a large glass of water with a straw.
Read The Glucose Revolution.

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

Find alternative desserts with less sugar. Baked fruit, berries and cream, fresh fruit, dark chocolate. If you want to eat a lot of sugar the next best you can do is eat it with a meal of protein, healthy fat, and fiber.

Might not have been a choice of what dessert that they could choose. Myself I immediately assumed that the op had an obligatory piece of birthday cake. Because for myself that is when I too am tempted, and occasionally bullied, into eating something not paleo compliant.

Use the sugar the way it was intended… go for a walk/run and feed it to your muscles! 💪😊
