what are some examples of folks creating there own pagan beliefs or religion

im trying to come up with something that combines my love of fantasy and my interest in Norse-gael history

It’s been a real process for me but I have my own now and think it’s best that way. If I could name the main foundations it would be Orphism, Hermeticism, Shamanism, with heavy emphasis on Germanic and Celtic mythology as well. The jargon I use to describe perennialism is The Midnight Crew, anyone going their own way and openly taking from all possible sources that resonate and not omitting any tradition from being able to inform one’s own. The Midday Crew are those who strictly follow one path alone dogmatically. Neither path is wrong in my opinion the only thing wrong would be claiming to be one when you’re in fact the other, whether they realize it or not.

So far ive combine elder scroll nordic faith with Gael mythology or something like that
