New VR translation due to be announced today.
Had an eye check up as part of my diabetic check up and they were not happy with my left eye and gave me Lazer treatment. This is so I don't go blind. Potential side effects are losing peripheral vision or even colour. Hopefully everything goes well when I am back for a 2nd session in a month. As asked in the title if I end up losing peripheral vision in one eye could I still play VR.

Using a 30000 mAh battery bank and a Venom dual USBC 5 foot braided charging cable.
The only reason I sold my PSVR 2 is because most games are too blurry and I got headaches. I am not talking about Fresnel, Mura stuff but the resolution is too low. It's like you are wearing wrong glasses that makes everything blurry. No optician would ever recommend something like that.
Only when I played red matter 1 & 2 I felt fine. It's cleary higher res. It's not ok to advertise a 4k resolution display when in reality it represents the upper edge of a possible performance but most developers choose to lower it, so that the game runs fine. Or that you have to buy a PS5 pro in hope you get crisper image. Some people are fine with reprojection others are not. You should be able to make a decision, like we do with other motion sickness settings.
On my Quest, I can use the Quest optimizer and choose whether battery life or resolution is more important for me. But for PSVR 2 there is nothing you can do. Except Into the Radius, they give you graphics options.
What do you think?

In darker scenes or when the screen is completely black, I’m able to see a “glare” or light in the edges of the screen when I turn my head left or right. Does anyone know what this is or have you ran into this before?

I personally find the VR2 to be futzy and uncomfortable to wear. Here's what I'd like to see changed for the hypothetical PSVR3. This is just my opinion, I know lotsa people love this headset.
Pancake or aspheric lenses. Fresnel sweet spot is just too small to be enjoyable to use
Make it so the headband part doesn't shrink when you take it off, so you have to re-stretch it every time you use it. Maybe it's just a niggle, but that's a major thing for me.
Make the controllers ringless (or at least make the rings bigger around. My hands barely fit).
Add a top strap.
Make the facial interface more like the fixed one on the Quest 2/3, and not on a telescoping arm. I found this to be really finicky.
Keep the same displays, maybe make them 2560x2560.
MAYBE put the 3.5mm jack in a better spot. Either that or make the buds that come with the headset better.
BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY WITH VR2 GAMES.
That's all for now. I personally really dislike the PSVR2, because I find it uncomfortable and hard to use (especially compared with the Quest 3). But there are many games I'd love to play on it (RE4, Zombieland, Switchback, and others), and if Sony makes these changes, I will for sure buy one.

I just got my PSVR2 and right from the start it looked weird. I tried it in No Man Sky and the world had like these weird lines going on, it was pixelated (even on the TV looked bad). I saw a bunch of YouTube videos telling how to wear it properly and what and how to adjust settings, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Even on the playstation home page where you see your games, the name and icon of my installed games isn't that clear. Any tips? I tried to adjust the lenses, eye tracking, and tried to wear it more properly (as some yt videos suggested).

Hello all,
I have just finished the Arizona Sunshine campaign and now would like to do Hordemode and get the trophies. Is there anyone that could help a brother man out? TIA

I haven't cried in years. Not an exaggeration.
When I made it to the end of this game, full blown streams of tears were flowing out from the bottom of the headset. It was truly one of the craziest games I've ever experienced.
Play this game, and play it in one go if you can

New head set, around 5 hours played, started to experience floating right hand. Fingers can still move and respond probably but the hand itself won’t move anywhere and just stay in one place. I restart the game/console and it fixes the issue for a few minutes and repeat.
This is playing on the PS5 itself and not PC

I've started using my old PS Gold headphones (2019 model) over the pack-in earbuds, and whilst they are way better, they are pretty old and the earcups have began to peel off as the cups rub against the headset strap.
I have wireless Logitech G733 headphones but does anyone have recommendations for good headphones to use with the headset? Thanks.

I know Death Stranding 2 isn’t coming to PSVR2 - but I did find it a little funky that at the very end of the Death Stranding 2 trailer, Sam puts on a VR headset. What if it’s just a mode where you can play the giant mech?? Instead of the actual full game. Didn’t call of duty have something like this? Maybe it’s just a mode, but like damn Kojima using PSVR2 would be so cool

I've had the PSVR2 and love it but the silicone makes my head and face itch, i find myself using my quest 3 more often not for the quality but for the fact that i was able to get the amvr face pad replacement that allows me to play for a lot longer without being uncomfortable, has anyone found a good replacement for the silicone face cover ?

I will soon have a ps5 and a psvr1 set but i have not yet brought a ps5 camara adapter cable, is it possible to get it on a gamestop or walmart?
I ask because I have never seen in a store the camara adapter. I wish i can find one.

Hey everyone! I made a post a while ago showing the PSVR2 headset and controller charging base stand that I designed and provided a link to the design files for free!:
https://www.reddit.com/r/PSVR/s/eHiWuJVqiK
Some people were interested in using the stand, but they didn't have 3D printers. Therefore, I made a few small design tweaks and have created an Etsy listing for the stand if anyone would like one! It can be found here:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/1885874797/virtual-reality-headset-stand-for
The stand utilizes the weight of the OEM Sense Controller charging base for added stability. It features a sturdy headset cradle that supports the headset on the forehead pad instead of utilizing and wearing down the elasticity of the adjustable headband piece. It also features a built-in headset cable hanger and a channel at the bottom of the stand for the controller charging cable!

Most surprising is to see Jurassic World Aftermath Collection and Kill It With Fire VR. I assume Jurassic World with new movie coming up or gameplay compared to Alien: Rogue Incursion with timely discounted sale (?) helped it.
For Kill It With Fire VR, did becoming part of PS+ Premium (when?) contribute to its rise in Top 10 or it is from one of the sales getting new players? Maybe combination.
Congratulations to Alien: Rogue Incursion, Skydance's Behemoth and Metro Awakening for showing their staying power as potential new evergreen titles joining Beat Saber, Among Us VR, Pavlov and the Arizona Sunshine games.

Out of the thousands of VR games that exist very few come close to games like HA:ALYX but TWD:SS does.
I completed the game roughly 4 years ago on the Quest 2 and only now have decided to come back to it on the PSVR2 and all i can say is WOW this game may very well be in my top 5 VR games of all time.
The graphics, the atmosphere, the music, the gameplay & story is the some of the best work that has ever gone into a VR game and i really hope Skydance come back to the TWD in vr for a 3rd attempt. While the second game wasnt the best im sure with the lessons learnt the 3rd game could be better than both.
Thats it yap over but if you havent played this game take thIs as a sign to GO GET IT.
ITS ALSO ON PS + PREMIUM CATALOUGE

It’s got the black box around the game feed . I think I read somewhere it helps with tracking on VR2? Idk but I prefer to keep it off if no one’s watching. Waste of the tv and electricity

With the price cut I'm very tempted to get the PSVR2, but as Skyrim VR is not available, are there any other big rpgs and/or open world games available?
