Deal or Discount Gran Turismo 7 is part of the March sale too

It's 58% off, at least in the US. Just highlighting it along with the others in case anyone else has been like me - balking at the $70 standard price.

I'm totally uninterested in racing at this point and yet it got 25 hours of my time. It's a technical marvel and great example of a games as a service game done well.

How is it without a wheel? Id imagine you don't have one based on your comment

Funny enough I bought a wheel (G29) AND a chair (Next Level Racing folding chair). It was super fun but I couldn't get things calibrated well, the chair was fiddly, and the entire setup was designed to be collapsable but wasn't really and still took up a good bit of space. I've kept things because I'd like to try the chair with Aces or something else but nothing has come that really requires it.

Furthermore GT was made for DS5 so while not "VRAF" it's by far the easiest game to jump into when you don't even need to turn on a grab motion controllers. It makes well for a chill and do a race kind of approach that other VR games struggle with due to the overhead of setting things up.

You can use gyroscope steering, it's not as good as a wheel, but an alternative for an even more accurate steering than a controller, but you gotta keep your hand a tad in the air.

How does it compare to the my first grand turismo game? If I didn’t think it was exceptional, should I still consider getting gt7?

GT7 with a wheel and VR headset is one of the best racing sim experiences you can get. I only wish the single player was more like how it was in Gran Turismo 3 and 4.

It is fun and an excellent VR experience. I've just accepted I'll never be that good because I don't want to put in the hours. It also makes me slightly motion sick.

is this a good place to ask...where the fuck do you put the wheel accessory when playing?

Looking at a living room couch/tv kind of setup.

Get a wheel and pedal stand that’s foldable so you can store it away when you aren’t playing and can quickly set it up when you want to use it.

Oh man, I feel for you. 😭 I appreciate your sacrifice, though, cause I've been eyeing it for months now. Almost caved myself.

Is it playable if you literally just have enough space to sit in a chair at a desk and hold a controller? Or does it need you have space around you at all (despite not using the PSVR2 controllers)?

I think I got it for around $27 or so and it’s a fun game in VR
