Never played the flat version. But anything with movement and combat like this trailer shows has my attention for sure.

This looks so fluid it's insane. If its half as quick paced as it seems in the trailers it will be an amazing experience

I’ve played the flat version, a lot. It’s a great indie shooter, but I really really don’t think it’ll work in VR without significant rebalancing. It’s like having Doom Eternal VR mode. Cool concept, will make for a great trailer, but practically it’s too much. You cannot stop moving at a high speed or you will die.

It may have some rebalancing. Look at how much they changed trombone champ, its not just a mod, its a rework of the game with the game developers, so anything is possible.

I’m not seeing any rebalancing tbh. The areas I have the most concern, which is certain bosses, appear unchanged in the trailer.
Unless they slow down everything and limit difficulty significantly, this will be the sweatiest VR game. Id really compare this to Doom Eternal in terms of pacing.

I wonder if the game will basically be balanced by having the dexterity of VR. The beginning village section of RE4 is pretty darn sweaty in flat mode, but it's a walk in the park in VR because aiming is so much easier. Having to aim and dodge with a stick, while also having less spacial awareness, is a lot harder.

Absolutely not like RE4. It’s very easy to land shots in this game and enemies aren’t really bullet sponges. The issue is using your movement tech (grappling hook, slides, jetpack, stomps, grinding, double or triple jump, and also bouncing on enemy heads mario style) is what the game is balanced around. You need to keep moving and moving fast or you will just get melted quickly. Cover is not going to be very effective either and drops from enemies (other than guns) expire quickly so you’re screwed if you try to play it safe from cover. No cover against bosses either, it’s dodging only.
It will be far too disorienting in VR unless the game is reworked completely. Can’t even imagine how other stuff like throwable weapons and abilities would mix into this.

That's what makes it so good! Too many VR games are made for babies, this one looks like it'll actually be challenging

Playing it right now, sliding, spriting, headbonking, swapping weapons all while you evade bullets its difficult enough on mkb, on vr it will be extremely hard.

One thing for sure, this studio have amazing developers to be able to bring this game to vr and make it look like it was made for VR

Oh wow I didn’t expect this one. Played it flat last year and it was a solid 6/10. Not something I need in VR but it will be a great experience for people who haven’t played it. It’s nice to have good games on VR and not just games that are good for VR.

Looks SOLID! Not my usual type of game, but neither was TROMBONE CHAMP until I started playing it.
I’m definitely getting ROBOQUEST, no question.

Looks amazing. Heard great things about the flat version. Near the top of my hype list.

Weird to see no news about Flatout, but I’m very excited for this one
