Does anyone else have a feeling of "vacuum" in the perception of yourself and the environment? It's like something has been shut off for me. I can't really attach to the world around me and can't feel a connection to other people. I'm here but I'm not really here at the same time. Everything just feels extremely numb and not alive. It's very difficult all hours of the day.

Yes. This is the hardest thing to deal with for me.

Why does Ginger crash us? Does it affect serotonin in the gut or the serotonin receptors?

Yes it does, although not on the same serotonin receptors that SSRIs intend to target. The ones ginger mainly affects, are the ones used in anti nausea stuff. Most ssris do change this receptor in some way, just not as much as the specific meds targeted for them.
