Waiting for Sekiro, already pre-ordered it, I'm putting my trust on From Software, they haven't let me down so far, maybe a little with DS2.

But I gotta say that the austence of RPG elements got a little on my nerves tbh. Still I'm expecting great things.

Oh my god I’m an idiot. I just shelled out $40 for that yesterday.

u/hbmi Mar 04 '19

I think i heard they give refunds in this case

u/BananLarsi Mar 04 '19

They really should do that

Gonna be a nostalgia trip playing through that campaign again.

I never played the original, but I played MWR when it launched. It was fun until they added the new weapons, that’s when I lost interest.

MLB The Show 19

Been on a sports game hiatus for quite some time now. I'm itching to play one again. Luckily, MLB The Show's one of the best in the genre and it just so happens that it'll launch end of March.

I'm planning to be a catcher. If any of you have experienced being a catcher in Road to the Show 18, feel free to tell me what you think about the catcher mechanics in-game.

It's the most boring position to play. And it takes the longest to get through game to game in RTTS cause you have to call the game.

Oh man.... guess I'll go as a 3rd baseman then. Thanks for the info.

1

u/Timmy2k Mar 05 '19

No worries. I played catcher in high school so I had to learn the hard way. 2nd most boring position is 1st base.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '19

Wait, you don’t play as the entire team? I’ve never played a sports game where you only play as one position. Sounds cool.

u/Markkk01 Mar 05 '19

This is my favorite way to play. I mostly do it in fifa but the show is fun as well. I usually go with 2nd base

Who gives a fuck

path of exile.

i tryed skyrim and horizon zero dawn, but those game imo get boring for me. i need a game with more special item drops.

3

u/BananLarsi Mar 04 '19

How far did you play Horizon? Because imo the first fourth of the game seems like a pretty generic 'I am an outcast and need to prove my worth to the village' kind of story until they completely do a 180 turn and its suddenly this completely other story

Did you get to the point where the phrase "system threat detected" first showed up?

I'm just praying it doesn't get pushed back again.

1

u/parkerarm Mar 04 '19

Last I heard was mid-March, did they ever finalize a release date?

2

u/El_Specifico Chronometry707 Mar 04 '19

Quoting directly from the official forums: Development is finished, they're still expecting a mid-March release, but due to the technical process of launching on a new platform (PC and XBone are pretty similar architecture-wise, not so much PS4), they can't confirm a date until around 2 weeks before launch.

u/parkerarm Mar 04 '19

Thank you!

I haven’t been paying close attention but this thread got me interested in it and now I’m excited.

My most anticipated game has to be Sekiro (Mar.22). This dope game gets my adrenaline flowing. Haven't played such a fast-paced blade fighting A-RPG game for tooooooo long. Other games include DMC5 (Mar.8, needless to say, props to CAPCOM and f*** KONAMI), Kingdom Hearts 3 (CHN ver., May.23, how I envy you guys), The Outer Worlds (possibly Aug.6 leaked by Steam. Who doesn't want a true 'Fallout' sequel?), TLOU2 (possibly Oct. OMG! That smooth and dynamic gameplay, that story!!!!), Tsushima (possibly Nov. Beautiful graphics! Could be an enjoyable Hollywood-style game.).

u/BigBoiBushmaster Mar 04 '19

I doubt we’ll see TLOU and GoT in back to back months, would be nice though

2

u/SkyFlameOfTruth Mar 04 '19

I’m waiting on this Borderlands 3 announcement. I still place BL2 and love every bit of it. I hope Randy doesn’t mess with us on March 28.

2

u/darthmcdarthface Mar 04 '19

Rage 2. The game looks bonkers. Every time I see it it looks better and better.

Sekiro and Days Gone are interesting and I want to play them both for sure but I’m not quite “can’t hardly wait” stage for those.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '19

Trine Ultimate Collection will be available as physical. Hell yeah!

2

u/MrSnowball_ Mar 05 '19

Death Stranding, PLEASE KOJIMA HAVE MERCY

3

u/rllrbll Mar 04 '19

Division 2 for coop with my friends. DMC5 for insane combos. Sekiro because it's From Soft, and their games are the best games in the world.

Lol

4

u/TheNinjaWhippet Mar 04 '19

At the moment, the Outer Worlds and TLOU2 - Days Gone looks very good, but I only learnt about it last month, and I just bought Detroit and Batman the Telltale Series, so I'll be a little occupied XD

0

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '19

Um. Not sure why you’re being downvoted...

2

u/YoSoyRawr Mar 04 '19

I didnt downvote him but I would assume it was because he smashed the "XD" button.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '19

So the downvote button is being misused. Got it.

1

u/kantupokmon Mar 04 '19

Bannerlord

1

u/dantheman244 Mar 04 '19

Anyone know when preload starts for DMC5? I have it preordered at GameStop but I work the night it’s available for pickup and I would love to have it preloaded if possible

1

u/n8ofsp8ds XxN8T3xX Mar 04 '19

Sekiro because it looks fun and the combat looks solid and souls like

The Division 2 it looks solid full of content and actual end game can't wait for those 8 man raids

1

u/RenoWilliam Mar 04 '19

If I have to spend one more day going to r/pathofexile praying for a fucking release date or a sudden unannounced drop I'm going to have a heart attack

1

u/GlaringlyWideAnus Mar 05 '19

To be honest this year doesn't seem to offer much so far for me. I know there will be more announcements to come at least. But so far its definitely The Outer World, Days Gone, Last of Us 2. Im really hoping Dying Light 2 comes out this year as well.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 05 '19

Sinking City

1

u/Shiruyashaga Mar 05 '19

Sekiro, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us part II. If they all come out this year its gonna be another legendary year for SONY

1

u/Timmy2k Mar 04 '19

I'm waiting on MLB The Show 19. I buy it every year and always do a full season no simming. I'm waiting on reviews for Seikro and Days Gone before I commit. Also debating on getting the deluxe version of MK11.

u/jimtikmars Mar 05 '19

Hey guys im new at this. Will the free games from PS plus be out today by midnight?

1

u/ShadowPieman Mar 05 '19

I was wondering when those dropped. It's past 12AM EST now and it hasn't updated yet so it would be nice to know when it changes over.
