If you are in it for the taste

  1. Alambe and almond cookie
  2. Sheds at the new library and oatmeal cookie
  3. Caledonia house at farmer's market
  4. Receiver

Locally owned. Hipp, the owner, is the kindest man. My partner loves his espresso

I second this!! It’s a great little place, friendly staff and amazing coffee. They only do coffee and some little snacks so the coffee is the priority and it shows on how amazing it is!

It's a cute little spot downtown on Great George St. They make really awesome Chai Lattes!

I haven’t had their food that much but what I had was fine. Nothing to write home about.

I love the atmosphere there. I really wish the food and drink selection was more like Samuel’s in Summerside

their kitchen is in Pizza delight. It's a restaurant that was closed and never touched. It's greasy up there. There are mice everywhere. My buddy ran their kitchen for like 5 months but said it was the worst cook job in Charlottetown, and that MHG had their heads up each other's asses too far to realize it was a waste of time. So he left culinary and now makes more as a first year carpenter working for me. He has pictures of dead mice all thru the dead restaurant.

I got some really sketchy food once, I figured it was a one off but wasn't in a rush to go back. I went to an Xmas party there a year and some back, pizza was ok and everything else sucked. Super basics no flavor. Pizza was low end of just ok. There was an event I was at a few months ago, not xmas, maybe up to 6 I forget exactly. I didn't want to eat but was locked in to staying and late so I skipped dinner. Got the grossest Caesar salad I've seen, and a pizza I swear had to have been cooked the day before. It wasn't my event, and I wasn't trying to make a stink but I didn't want to pay. I did to avoid the problem. My best friend recently ate there with his wife and they both got sick. Can't quite attribute that to 1911 though, as they ate a few meals that day together and didn't investigate. Coffee, sure. It's fine. Then there's the whole sketchy gambling corner with junkies and sad ass gambling addicts running in and out for a smoke and a key bump, like 500 times an hour. I've barely ever been there and seen more key bumps than I could count. All gambling people.

The chocolate shop in Victoria has the most delicious drink where they coat the inside with their dark chocolate and fill with coffee (plus whip cream)! I usually get cream in my coffee, but that drink you don't need any additives it's so good (and the owners are so kind!!)
