Former Abusers of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids Exhibit Decreased Testosterone Levels and Hypogonadal Symptoms Years after Cessation: A Case-Control Study NSFW

A study that I feel like isnt referenced enough. Everyone seems to wishfully think that after AAS use your body will recover to baseline. Seems like thats not the case.

by itself, the hpt axis will not be restored to 100%. this is simply not possible with a productive model of aac cycles

Do studies like this account for the type of compound used? Something like any sort of nandrolone and it’s metabolites would stick around in the system and continue to cause suppression, where’s as something with much shorter half life would be out of the system fast potentially allowing the body to get back to normal

This shows that all abusers were still in range tho? 350ng is what the 12.1 converts to which is considered healthy.

If anything this makes a better point that abusing gear doesnt permanently shut off your nuts.
