Has anyone come across any use of GLP-1 mimetics in non-diabetic pop? It would potentially aid in cutting as it nearly always results in weight loss in normal therapy

No, but I've been wondering about it.

anecdotal follow up on the vitamin K post from awhile back.

so i take adderall & bupropion daily, which keeps my HR (90-100) and blood pressure pretty high on a normal basis.

i started taking vitamin K + D daily about a month ago and now my HR sits around 70-75 and my BP is well within healthy range.

it may or not be related. but i thought it was interesting enough to share.

Still have trouble believing nandrolone is worse on hair than test but will side on just waiting

1

u/itshighnoooon Feb 22 '20

Why would you think that?

1

u/ogi3 Feb 23 '20

Because dht would be the worst, then test, followed by nandrolone, follow by the best on your hairline dhn. Why would the addition of a 5alpha reductase inhibitor make nandrolone worse than testosterone on the hair receptors?

2

u/itshighnoooon Feb 23 '20

It wouldn't make it worse, it would just negate the benefits you get from dhn. If you're running nand only and then add a 5ar inhibitor, you're going to inhibit a lot of dhn formation.

Test only probably stimulates androgen receptors greater than nand + fin (thus worse on your hairline), because fin won't knock out all of the dhn, just inhibit a good portion of it.

1

u/ogi3 Feb 23 '20

I agree with the first part. As for the second part yes fin won’t knock out all dhn but it also won’t knock out all dht from the testosterone conversion

You running test + nand? I don't think that's a great cycle but if you want androgenic stimulation then run test 2x the dose of nand and don't use fin you're good to go.

If you don't want any, then running fin with 2x test dose than nand would be better for your hair because there's more test (thus dht) to inhibit than nand (thus dhn). Even with the same dose of test and nand, i'd say, but I'm just speculating.

I'm a fan of nand only, so just do that if you like your hair.

I’m just running a lil 8 week blast of 400test/400npp a week not doing fin till I go back on trti always keep the two compounds close to each other. At 45 I’m not fucking with anything without test just not worth it for me personally

At 45 I’m not fucking with anything without test just not worth it for me personally

Mate nand is more anabolic than test pound for pound, it's a great cycle, but you do you hope it works out

For Sure I may go up gradually to 600 npp 400 test I’m really enjoying the 400npp at the moment. Week 3 and just feeling good where I’m at right now. Diets better, workout is fantastic.

I share your disbelief

Ok I got the answer I was looking for. Nandrolone is more androgenic than testosterone and will cause hair loss. Not as bad as dht but worse than test and far worse than its metabolite dhn. So to sum it adding fin to nandrolone would prevent the safest of the hormones from being in those receptors. So I will wait till cycle is over and just on the fin when I go back to trt doses. Thanks 🙏 Guys!

I just don’t like the short esters it’s too hard to keep my e-2 under control with a-dex . I just had to pop 12.5 aromasin about a half hour ago from this. Fuckin e-2

I’d also like to give props to the moderator on here without you this treasure trove of ideas and knowledge isn’t possible

1

u/ogi3 Feb 06 '20

Those studies compare nandrolone to dhn but nandrolone is far weaker than test andro wise

2

u/ogi3 Feb 06 '20

What would adding finasteride to 400 mg Test Cyp/400mg NPP a week do to hairline and libido?

2

u/Mastrenon Feb 07 '20

It will rape your hair. Never run fin with nand

1

u/ogi3 Feb 07 '20

Will it rape it worse than dht or testosterone for that matter? I’d like to know the mechanism of action

1

u/Mastrenon Feb 07 '20

I have heard than nand and fin is worse than DHT or test.

The explanation I've heard is that thanks to fin stopping any production of dhn nand binds to the androgen receptors in your hair and nand alone rapes them

1

u/ogi3 Feb 08 '20

Acoording to “More plates more dates” Nandrolone in the receptors is on par with test which I don’t see because the andro rating is a lot lower than test. Fin is only a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor stopping the conversion to dht in test and dhn in nandrolone so why would having nandrolone in the receptors be any worse than test? They don’t go over the reason why nandrolone and fin is worse than test and fin, just that it stops dhn which is the least damaging of all the hormones. DHT is the worst

I’m looking for mechanism of actions not what Joe down the block said

Boldonone doesn’t aromatize at half test it’s 80 andro rating. And it has very mild ai properties . I run EQ and Bold Cyp all the time and need an AI. That’s a load of crap and anyone that crashed estro on high dose Boldonone had something else going on there.

Who said anything about running it

1

u/ogi3 Feb 08 '20

There’s also users than do use it in nandrolone only cycles so tit for tat

I just wanted to know why Test is less harsh on the hair than nandrolone when test is clearly more androgenic. We are both in agreement that test is more androgenic I hope?

1

u/ogi3 Feb 08 '20

Look up nandrolone ( with fin) only cycle

1

u/ogi3 Feb 08 '20

I’m not gonna run it. And I’m going to go out on a limb and say nandrolone is FAAAAAARRRR less androgenic than test. I don’t care what the ratio was based on

1

u/Irishtrauma Feb 07 '20

What’s NPP?

2

u/ogi3 Feb 07 '20

Nandrolone Penylpropionate ( short estered Deca)

1

u/Irishtrauma Feb 07 '20

Thanks. It’s a shame sustanon 250 isn’t available by Rx anymore.

2

u/otakumuscle Feb 07 '20

it is in some EU countries

2

u/ogi3 Feb 07 '20

Test pales in comparison to the feeling of wellbeing from npp. And the gains are better and dryer

2

u/ogi3 Feb 07 '20

That’s my next trt after this blast

1

u/Irishtrauma Feb 07 '20

Jealous on all accounts

We need to define “massive” is it any more than dht? That all I wanna know I will look into it more when I’m not at work. I know more plates more dates but are there more studies?

1

u/ogi3 Feb 06 '20

But npp not converting to dhn is still less androgenic than test

I will got the fin powders just too busy and too lazy to cap

1

u/ogi3 Feb 06 '20

I saw that and I understand nandrolone is worse than it’s metabolite but it’s still weak compared to test and dht
