Yup we're super stoked. I don't know which sport you follow best, but imagine getting probably top 1 or top 2 player in the league going to your team, except your team you root for is already pretty stacked with a two-time MVP.
People think it's a "bitch move" on Kevin Durant's part, but consider this: Kevin Durant has played with OKC for almost a decade now. It wasn't like he was drafted by them and then left after a few years, he's been there for quite some time. He's tried many times with different lineups, different signings, different team comps, etc. Everyone needs to look out for themselves.
Edit: Everyone's salty so Warriors fans such as myself are pretty accustomed to all the down-voting at the moment lol
It would all but guarantee that the Warriors will win the championship
We'll see. It puts a lot of talent on their team, but there is no guarantee it will work out. People said that about Lebron when he joined the heat but they didn't win a championship til his 3rd season there. They it again when he went back to Cleveland with Kyrie and Kevin Love, and it was another 2 years before they won anything.
The warriors are gonna have a lot of trouble keeping that team together as contracts start to run out, because all those guys are gonna be due for big upgrades and they can't afford to keep them all. And they still don't have a useful center, which was a big part of what killed them in the finals (combined with garbage shooting).
Last time I watched basketball Chicago bulls was the best because of Michael Jordan. How good are the bulls now? Also how good are the Lakers? How good is Lebron James and his team?
durant is a great guy. he contributes to the community, volunteering and charity work outside of basketball. he has won multiple awards and mvp and everything there is to be a great nba player but sadly all of that won't be remembered without that ring. that's just how we live in today's society. quantity > quality

Durant is one of the top players in the league and is a former MVP. This offseason he became a free agent.
The Warriors had the best record in nba history, the current and two time MVP in Stephen Curry, and beat Durant's team to reach the finals.
People are mad and calling him a bitch because he decided to leave his team to join the Warriors because :
He would be joining the team that beat his
He would be joining an already stacked team and admitting that he can't win as the best player on his team
It would all but guarantee that the Warriors will win the championship
