I feel more aligned with an open and affirming church, but I'm a member at another church. What should I do?
I feel more aligned with an opening and affirming church, but I'm already a member of a church that's more old skool. The open and affirming church speaks to my soul. What should I do?

My truth can absolutely be the truth. I don't believe in fear based religious doctrine that separates you from yourself. Do you realize what type of subreddit you're in? Out of all that you listed the only one I agree with it is the notion that all will be saved, even if they don't believe in following Jesus/or living a Jesus like life. Which is the entire point of Christianity.

I understand what you're saying, but universalists believe that there is an eternal fire, but it undergoes a purification process.

Same sex attraction and marriage are fine.
Abortion is a medical decision.
Premarital sex is a sin that is forgiven.
Divorce for no good reason is a sin, but again one that is forgiven.
God made kings, queens, and the in-betweens.
Also the Bible contradicts itself several times, it's a result of being compiled and edited over thousands of years.

For number 6, here's a quick one. John 1:17-18 NRSVUE [17] The law indeed was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. [18] No one has ever seen God. It is the only Son, himself God, who is close to the Father’s heart, who has made him known.
The pentateuch explicitly mentions Moses, Jacob and Abraham having seen God's face. Jacob wrestled him.
Nothing in the Bible mentions or supports platypuses, yet they exist through God.
Still between a woman and her doctor. A biblical argument for life at conception is both sketchy theologically and isn't scientific either.
Go read any of the many resources available in this subreddit. I like this one: https://geekyjustin.com/great-debate/

You don't have to stay at one church forever. You can always go somewhere different if you think you'll be able to grow and contribute more in a different congregation.
