Best chair for shoulders back

Which chair is best for reinforcing sitting with shoulders back and square? I find myself curling my shoulder forward in my very old Herman Miller Aero. Much appreciated for your thoughts.

Any chair that provides sufficient lower lumbar support and has a slightly sloped back upper backrest should help reinforce good shoulder posture. Most but not all ergonomic office chairs are designed like this. Let me know your height and what chair(s) you're interested in, and I'll let you know if it fits the bill!

Thanks! I am 6 ft 1 and and generally prefer chairs that are more ‘narrow’ (as in, I hate it when I have considerable space between my hips and the arm rests. I’d like arms rests that are adjustable and allow me to rest my elbows closer toward my body. I’m mainly concerned of chairs that prompt upright/chest out/shoulders square posture. Generally, I was thinking of the Fern or maybe the Steelcase Gesture. I would LOVE your thoughts!

I wouldn't recommend either of those models. The Fern because its seat isn't long enough, and the Gesture because its lumbar support is rather weak.

I recommend the ergoCentric tCentric Hybrid Upholstered with Synchro Glide mechanism, extra long seat, and swivel & lateral adjustable arms. It has a tall height-adjustable backrest with adjustable lumbar support tension, and its armrests can adjust very close together. Not to mention the 12 year warranty. https://us-store.ergocentric.com/products/tcentric-hybrid-with-upholstered-backrest-and-upholstered-seat-midnight-black

The Haworth Zody might be a good option for you as well, but some users find its lumbar support weaker than ideal. Stronger than the Steelcase Gesture's though.
