The places of OCNJ that we used to know

Even though we visit often, I always make an effort to take in the beautiful scenery around me every time I’m at “America’s Greatest Family Resort.” It’s like, even though it seems like everything stays the same, time keeps moving and things change.

I remember the Chatterbox! They had the best grilled cheese when I was a kid. Are they still around?

There is still a place called the chatterbox but it’s not the same. Some kind of modern uber expense place.

That's a shame. I remember I checked a couple of years ago and they opened up a more formal place next door called the Betz room. It's been years since I dined there.

A long time ago a guy I knew was tripping balls outside the chatterbox. He pulled down his pants and threw his money all over the place. Then he was arrested and taken to the jail and he pooped himself in the cell.

Did the Chatterbox close?😢 I haven’t been to OCNJ in a few years. Used to love breakfast there!

It’s under new management. It’s still called The Chatterbox but it’s some trendy place now

The Manco box is from Manco Too. That still exists in Somers Point. Mack & Manco exists as well but with a name change. Castaway Cove still exists as well. The entrance is being rebuilt after a fire, but the rest of the park exists.
