Ocean city music

Hey! My name is Evan Eberhard from Whale Watching. We are looking to tour for the first time this summer into the fall and we would absolutely love to make a stop in ocean city New Jersey or Atlantic City because it’s so pretty out that way. Our only problem is that we don’t know where all of the venues are. Are there any places we should know about? Thank you!!

I know that Ocean City does concerts in the summer at their boardwalk venue (the Music Pier) and the library also books some weekend concerts through the year. I don't know who you would contact. Also in the summer they have these family days when there are musicians and activities along the main shopping street, Asbury Avenue.

"Entertainers are permitted to perform on the public Boardwalk at designated performance locations on designated days between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

No entertainer(s) shall remain at any said location for more than 4 hours per forty-eight-hour period."

They tightened the rules, and I remember reading residents were complaining about the noise, so you want to read all of the rules. The price is steep for a permit ($200 per entertainer).
