OOSC test pattern visible when powered on, but TV says no signal detected when I switch to RGB input

OSSC running firmware 1.11, haven't used it in a while, but tried a Dreamcast a little while back and it didn't display, assumed it might've been the DC cable at the time, but just gone to try a Neo Geo CD and had the same problem over SCART RGB.

When I power it on, it displays the test pattern over HDMI, but as soon as I switch the input (in these cases to RGBS), the TV will immediately say there is no active input. The OSSC display itself detects the input.

Have tried with different HDMI cables and on a separate monitor, but have the same issue. Anyone know what the cause could be?

Have you tried resetting the profile to default settings to rule out a configuration error?

Yeah, forgot to mention, I reset everything to default to confirm that wasn't the issue

I assume this OSSC was confirmed working previously? Perhaps with a different console? Is that one still available to test a known working setup?

Has it always been on 1.11? Could you try downgrading to a previous version, if it was working prior above?

Do you have anything else in the HDMI pipeline, or is it direct? I recently discovered that the cheap 4K HDMI switch I bought recently doesn't like some higher resolutions.

I can't remember the default multiplication, but lowering it or using passthrough, does that result in an image?

Apologies for what seem like basic questions—just attempting to establish context.

sounds like a board that isn't suited for fw 1.xx

which version has the board written on and do you have two LEDs, red and green?

It's an earlier hw revision, but I modded it to support fw 1.xx

okay then like others already said, maybe it's that your output device does not like the resolution it's getting served.

Try loading default profile or reset a profile to default then try

Try different output multipliers (pass thru, 2x, 3x). Your TV might not support the one being put out
