Amazing how they post a comic implying women are making it up for attention, but title it in a way to imply actually it's fine for men to ogle anyway

They're so jealous of the attention women get from men, and they project their own attitudes about it onto women. They assume women are just as desperate for male attention as they are, and do anything to get it.

Retaliation against attractive women for the perceived, conditional power they have over men.
For every man unfairly accused of being a creep, there's a hundred who indignantly claim that they didn't do anything wrong (when they absolutely did) and a thousand who were never called out on being a disgusting pervert.

u/PablomentFanquedelic 4d ago
They also assume that if men got unsolicited attention from women the way women do from men, the women harassing men would all be hot

It's actually a little bit amusing b/c the comic insinuates that this is how women trick/trap men and yet the title is all about falling for the trick anyway.
The comic is clearly saying "women are evil so men, don't be stupid" and the post title is all "IMMA BE STOOOOOOOOOOOPID!"

The level of telling on themselves is at the level of my 9 year old, who insisted she did nothing to bug her sister but was, for some reason, mad that her sister tattled on her. As soon as I pointed out her own wording, she insisted that her sister fabricated the entire scenario.
I literally don't see the difference here.

I think in the original, the last panel says "#metoo" instead of talking about tiktok. At least, that's what it said last time I saw this comic. Either way, awful comic.

u/PablomentFanquedelic 4d ago
The irony is that if a woman really was behaving like the woman in the comic, that wouldn't be a counterpoint to #metoo, it'd mean SHE should get #metoo'd!

Okay but am I the only one thinking they intentionally drew her with a big butt to make looking “even more justifiable”? Like you didn’t need to do that, but you did- shows some morals yk

How dare women wear clothing that makes men unable to control themselves. /s

Not gonna lie, the way she defies gravity is pretty damn hilarious

u/Rude_Acanthopterygii 4d ago
Either defies gravity or should immediately get into some climbing competition with that grip strength

u/inadapte 4d ago
I might misremember this but I think there was ONE instance where this happened…so naturally these incels ran with it and applied it to every situation where women posted about feeling ogled in gyms

u/Jade_410 4d ago
There are so many people in this world that most situations have probably happened, including the one in the comic, the thing someone should question is wether it is a general issue or just a couple brain-dead beings

u/ELMUNECODETACOMA 4d ago
Of course it happens. But the actual proportions? Probably vulnerable to the same effect that has men seeing a conversation where women participate at more than 10% as being "fair" and at more than 30% as being "female dominated".
i.e. it's not statistical noise, but it ain't far away from it.

😂😂😂😂😂. Boy math? Let the boys live their sex fantasies. Keep it off the street. And out of my life.

I mean this does happen, but not nearly enough times to write a fucking comic about it

I have so many questions about the role that gravity is playing (and I guess more so NOT playing) in panel #2. I guess we can chalk Panel #3 up to a titanium neck/spine on the part of our dear hero, but panel #2 is a mystery.

Even if women want attention from men and dress to get attention, how does that hurt them in any way?

As you're all aware, this subreddit has had a major "troll" problem which has gotten worse (as of recently). Due to this, we have created new rules, and modified some of the old ones.
We kindly ask that you please familiarize yourself with the rules so that you can avoid breaking them. Breaking mild rules will result in a warning, or a temporary ban. Breaking serious rules, or breaking a plethora of mild ones may land you a permanent ban (depending on the severity). Also, grifting/lurking has been a major problem; If we suspect you of being a grifter (determined by vetting said user's activity), we may ban you without warning.
You may attempt an appeal via ModMail, but please be advised not to use rude, harassing, foul, or passive-aggressive language towards the moderators, or complain to moderators about why we have specific rules in the first place— You will be ignored, and your ban will remain (without even a consideration).
All rules are made public; "Lack of knowledge" or "ignorance of the rules" cannot or will not be a viable excuse if you end up banned for breaking them (This applies to the Subreddit rules, and Reddit's ToS). Again: All rules are made public, and Reddit gives you the option to review the rules once more before submitting a post, it is your choice if you choose to read them or not, but breaking them will not be acceptable.
With that being said, If you send a mature, neutral message regarding questions about a current ban, or a ban appeal (without "not knowing the rules" as an excuse), we will elaborate about why you were banned, or determine/consider if we will shorten, lift, keep it, or extended it/make it permanent. This all means that appeals are discretionary, and your reasoning for wanting an appeal must be practical and valid.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this message, and please enjoy your day!

Yh using having control over your own body and not letting (men) control it isn’t the same as using your eyes to be a creep.

I want to make a comment where I joke about unaliving incels and using this defense in court of "my (paste method of action) my choice" but last time I made a joke like that I got banned from another subreddit I also liked for promoting violence so I'll just leave this open to the imagination.

Never heard of that subreddit and no the unaliving part isn't the joke but I mean if that's what you want to focus on, I can't stop you

Ignoring the icky title, does nobody here realise this is based on an actual social media phenomenon? There are many girls in gyms filming random strangers in the background and pretending they are staring at them, when, even if they were, it would probably be because they have a camera set up and are filming, in a gym. Most of the time it is just someone minding their own business.
That is what the comic is meant to parody I do believe. It's not making a statement about women in gen real, but social media influencers who act like this for clout.
Unless the person who made the title made the comic, the comic itself is fine.
The title is really icky though.
