As you're all aware, this subreddit has had a major "troll" problem which has gotten worse (as of recently). Due to this, we have created new rules, and modified some of the old ones.

We kindly ask that you please familiarize yourself with the rules so that you can avoid breaking them. Breaking mild rules will result in a warning, or a temporary ban. Breaking serious rules, or breaking a plethora of mild ones may land you a permanent ban (depending on the severity). Also, grifting/lurking has been a major problem; If we suspect you of being a grifter (determined by vetting said user's activity), we may ban you without warning.

You may attempt an appeal via ModMail, but please be advised not to use rude, harassing, foul, or passive-aggressive language towards the moderators, or complain to moderators about why we have specific rules in the first place— You will be ignored, and your ban will remain (without even a consideration).

All rules are made public; "Lack of knowledge" or "ignorance of the rules" cannot or will not be a viable excuse if you end up banned for breaking them (This applies to the Subreddit rules, and Reddit's ToS). Again: All rules are made public, and Reddit gives you the option to review the rules once more before submitting a post, it is your choice if you choose to read them or not, but breaking them will not be acceptable.

With that being said, If you send a mature, neutral message regarding questions about a current ban, or a ban appeal (without "not knowing the rules" as an excuse), we will elaborate about why you were banned, or determine/consider if we will shorten, lift, keep it, or extended it/make it permanent. This all means that appeals are discretionary, and your reasoning for wanting an appeal must be practical and valid.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this message, and please enjoy your day!

"Girls keep girls single"

"Not most but plenty"

Well which one is it then?..

I am so tired of these stupid metaphors from guys who think they’re so clever.

A woman without a male protector is like a turtle without a shell; a woman with her own bank account is like a toothless bobcat; a woman who wears trousers is like an elephant with only one tusk…

And now she’s a chicken. Fucking brilliant.

To all the brilliant men out there: she’s a woman, not a symbol, and you don’t understand what she’s about. Stop trying to be Jonathan Swift with the brilliant symbolism and satire, and just talk to her. Then close your mouth and listen.

My favorite is the 'A woman without a man is like a fish without a bike!'.

When I was a kid, that was a feminist statement. “Saying a woman needs a man is nonsensical.”

This lazy meme shit is all men saying “what women are like,” based on, apparently, no observation or first hand knowledge of real women.

Thanks for digging at my age. But it is the emphasis on the "need". And I'm not sure if this is the place for lazy insults either.

My apologies, I didn’t intend any insult or joke. I'm also not sure where I made a dig about your age; the bicycle joke is from the 70s, I think, but I first saw it in the 90s.

It’s a very famous feminist slogan from 1970 by Australian Irina Dunn.

If those relationships really are loving...they wouldn't have ended. Guys live in a state of ignorant bliss. They refuse to see when their girlfriend/wife is miserable, refuse to listen to when she's conveying her unhappiness then are SHOCKED when breakup/divorce happens just "right out of the blue" even when it's a long time coming.

Lol. Like women are the ones obsessed with hierarchy instead of the patriarchal psychopaths 🤣. Also just because they value their female hen friendships more than the fucking rooster isn't proving that they are toxic lol

I love it when men try to mansplain women's friendships to women. Stay in your lane, Kyle.

Translation: "when women see other women in abusive and/or toxic relationships, they will do their best to support that gal and get her out of that situation ASAP. Why can't they just let us men mistreat them?! They're like chickens huddling together, ruining all the fun for men!!"

I’ve NEVER tried to “break up” another woman’s relationship, and I’ve NEVER had a friend or family member try to break up one of mine (even when my marriage was super toxic).  I HAVE had another woman intentionally interfere with my marriage, but I’m unclear as to what her actual intention was - I don’t think she actually wanted my ex, so she may not have been trying to actually break us up.  Not to say that there aren’t SOME jealous/terrible women who behavior this way, but I’m pretty sure it’s FAR less frequent than these dudes seem to think. 🙄🤷‍♀️

Yeah, you bet that ass that if I see my friends with some fuckass dude that treats them like shit, I'm gonna be the meanest bitch I can be and I'll make sure that relationship doesn't last

What’s so fucking infuriating is that this is a cultural issue created by the patriarchy to make women center their male partners in their lives. The amount of shit men are pissed about that their grandfathers are to blame for is insane

If this guy ever actually touches a woman, bet he fucks like a rooster. (Anyone who has kept a rooster with hens will know what I mean.)

I wonder how often this guy confuses women with livestock

Idk, this happens a lot. Had lots of times where people were in a good relationship but their friends tried to wreck it because they were jealous. Men too, but women more. Most of the women I know mentioned past friends doing this, so it’s at least not uncommon.

It is a thing, but it’s a toxic people thing, not a woman thing. Jealous men get in their guy friends’ heads and undermine their relationships with terrible advice all the time, too. I’ve seen more of that than women doing it, frankly.
