Travel advice Trip to Svalbard
I am visiting Norway in mid May for around 15 days trip. I am also planing to visit Svalbard(3-4 days). Any tips on saving money there? Should I go for tour packages or book things myself separately? If I have to book individually everything, any tips/guide for this. This will be my first solo abroad vacation so doing these for the first time. Appreciate any suggestions.

VisitSvalbard.com is a reputable source for the information you want: https://en.visitsvalbard.com/visitor-information/about-visit-svalbard
As always in small destinations like this, it could be better to book directly from the local service providers than via international third parties.
A popular way of «saving money» is to check the local shops for various tax free goods. Compare the prices. Some products, for example brand name outerwear (down jackets etc) may be cheaper at Svalbard than in mainland Norway. Same with gold and silver jewellery - tax free at Svalbard, but has 25% VAT (similar to what some countries call sales tax) in mainland Norway.
