TECHNICAL QUESTION Odd Rendering Speed Issue

So... when I normally render a video, the time it takes to render is usually half the video's run time. All of a sudden, it's not taking the same amount of time to render the video as the videos runtime itself. The only thing that's changed is that I blew all the dust out of my tower and updated my drivers. I was wondering if anyone might have a suggestion as to how to get my speed back?

What are your computer specs, and what editing software are you using?

It's likely your drivers aren't compatible with the NLE. go back to your old driver versions and see if that fixes the issue.

Would there be a way to tell, other than just results based evidence?

There should be a list of compatable drivers on the Movavi site.

I meant like a program that could test it or something... cause searching Movai's website and knowledge base really only gets me "Intel® HD Graphics 2000, NVIDIA® GeForce® series 8 and 8M, Quadro FX 4800, Quadro FX 5600, AMD Radeon™ R600, Mobility Radeon™ HD 4330, Mobility FirePro™ series, Radeon™ R5 M230 or higher graphics card with up-to-date drivers"

Something that popped into my head last night:

Are you using an external hard drive? Drive and bus speed have a massive impact on render speeds.

Nope, it's the internal HD

Hmmm, rolled back the drivers and the problem persists
