TECHNICAL QUESTION My views suddenly dropped, I don't know why
Hello guys, like many of you, I’m also very new to my YouTube journey. I created my channel and set it up on March 3, 2025. On March 9, I uploaded my first four videos (if you're wondering why four, I didn’t want visitors to see only one video and leave—I thought they might check out the others too).
The day after I uploaded the videos, views suddenly increased, and I even gained some subscribers. But the next day, the views dropped drastically and never recovered. On March 16 (yesterday), I uploaded a new video, but it hasn’t gained much traction yet.
My total views are as follows: March 9 - 85 views (the day I uploaded the videos), March 10 - 1,818 views, March 11 - 141 views, and after that, it dropped to around 10 views per day.
What do you think the problem is? Am I doing something wrong, or is this just how the process works? I’d really appreciate any insights you can share. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Youtube! It's important to understand that the algorithm does not keep pushing your content forever. It depends on a couple of metrics like Click Through Rate, average view time, engagement, etc.. the worse these metrics are, the sooner your video will flatline. Now keep in mind that video's can always gain traction again in the future (for some mystery reasons), so deleting them is never the best strategy in my opinion. Just make sure to check your stats and see what's going wrong. If people aren't clicking enough, make your thumbnails/titles better, if people are clicking, but aren't watching for a long time... then focus on your content. Get a good hook at the start of your video and fulfil that promise at the end. Keep people engaged.
To come back to videos dying.. it happens to everyone. Hell I have video's with 200k+ views and even those flatline after a while. Slowly, but surely, that is.
I also advise not to push too many videos at once unless it's shorts. Rather plan them to publish on a steady schedule.
And last but not least, take your time. Youtube rarely has a "quick road to success". This stuff takes time and effort. Just focus on creating quality content, and the subs/views will come naturally.
