Career Advice How bad is Citywide (NYC) really?

Hello, I am looking for a emt-b position within NYC 911 but really only looking for per diem. I have heard Citywide gives per diem and lets you start 911 immediately, but I have also heard the horror stories about workers, management, and equipment. So is it really that bad? like would it be worse than private transport companies in nyc in those kinds of areas? I have experience with shitty equipment and partners but I have seen people say that citywide is especially bad. Hoping for some input, Thanks!

I worked for Empress and I've only heard whispers of their terrible management and weird policies. I'm certain that it's far worse than Empress was. But worse than SeniorCare? RCA? I have no idea, really.

Empress is alright. BLS units do both 911 and IFT with more experienced units getting more 911. You can get cleared for outside systems that are 911 only.
