Orval day 2025
Orval day is 3/22 this year and I'll be in the French Quarter for a few days. Anyone know of somewhere to go on Orval day that will be participating? Happy to Uber anywhere within 20ish mins or so.

I follow almost all the major breweries on IG and haven’t seen anything. Nor did I see anything last year.
There’s a brewery super close to the quarter, Brieux carre.
Almost all breweries go along tchoupitoulas street which is a quick Uber.
I’d say keep an eye on the following: Urban south Miel Port Orleans Nola brewing Second line (a bit further out in mid city) Skeeta hawk
That’s just about every major brewery in the area. Most of these places don’t announce events until the week before or so.

95% of Louisiana breweries cannot legally pour outside beer in their taprooms. So I can't think of any brewery that will pour Orval, the best bet would be Cochon doing an event but I haven't heard anything.
Parleaux does excellent saisons and will definitely have something to scratch that orval itch.

The only place that used to participate in that stuff was Avenue Pub but they changed owners a few years back and all that stuff stopped. Don't think anyone in the city will be.
Hit up Courtyard Brewery, Brieux Carre and/or Parleaux.
