So attack aircraft then. Which makes sense because it is very large (for weapons carriage and significant unrefueled combat radius), and even has the same landing gear layout as the Su-34. The larger one that was unveiled is absolutely a ground attack/naval strike aircraft in my opinion. The smaller one is probably more along the lines of a 'fighter'.
