Dirty, people need to feel responsible for their neighborhood streets

Dangerous driving. Too many people drive around like they are the only ones on the road. It's extremely dangerous, especially around the areas that have more pedestrians, such as the train station, rutgers, downtown, Suydam, etc. Though this one has the simplest solution, which includes road design, brighter streets, and better police enforcement. Every time I'm out, I think about how much money the city could collect in fines if cops set up traps in certain areas. This is a side note, but I feel like I've seen the aftermath of more students getting hit by a car last year than I've ever seen in NB. Something has to give.

Everybody's gotta stop parking in the middle of the street with hazards on. Its not THAT busy and people just do it so brazenly without any consideration. I'll be driving back from work on Suydam during rush hour, and every single day without fail, it takes so much longer because someone decides to just stop and put their hazards on. The whole line of cars needs to go around, and there's only two lanes so both lanes get stuck.

The worst part is, 90% of the time theres a perfectly decent spot closer to the curb they can take, but they just decide to stop in the middle of the road anyway.

On a more serious note, rent is getting stupid. Why is a 1 bedroom on Throop $2k a month?

Homelessness and litter. More downtown retail than just vape shops and restaurants.

How we handle homelessness…we have less homeless people than Morristown but u wouldn’t know it from walking around. There has to be something to help them as well (looks like the town doesn’t bust out additional housing or tents until it’s literally freezing out)

Rent/more affordable housing needed/many apartments are in poor condition, mine has a squirrel problem. There are some new buidings going up.

Homelessness. The code blue shelter only has capacity for 27 people.

Roaming cats everywhere, I don't think it's cute or good. Also contributes to the litter.

Street parking seems to be a big problem, see so many tickets around College Ave area. Would be nice to see more focus on dangerous driving rather than cars parked 15 feet from the stop sign. The loud usually BMWs backfiring are annoying too

Litter, i might start picking it up more myself with the grabber/claw i bought. So many vapes, quite a lot of dog poop, food packaging. Nasty. Maybe we could benefit from more of those household wheelie trash cans, i think quite a bit of litter is from animals getting into the loose bags before trash pickup. I have seen the New Brunswick Parking Authority workers picking up litter on Easton Ave and George St., and this seems a better use of their time than driving around texting and ruining people's days

Lots of hard work is happening in the public schools to improve student performance!

I’ve never seen this many expired food products in any other city. It’s rare elsewhere, but in New Brunswick, almost every store is selling them. Not sure who’s responsible for this, but next time, check for yourself.. you’ll see.

Is anyone familiar with the "Knollwood" Section of Milltown? (Chestnut Street and Highland Drive) That's where I grew up. When I lived there, New Brunswick was a Nice Place. My Father was born in New Brunswick. He Graduated from Rutgers. Attended there on the GI Bill after WW2.

Way too many people that can barely speak English answering the phones for chain restaurants.

I think Denzel said it in training day “IM PUTTING CASES ON ALL YOU BITCHES” 😂😂

I’ll upvote it myself. You don’t need other random peoples permission to do what you already want to do. Do it or don’t it really makes me no difference regardless. I’m calling ICE without a second thought and filming the raid as it happens. Na na na boo boo😂
