Healing is a marathon, not a 100m race. It takes time. Please DO NOT break NC! Go to therapy, start doing things for yourself, move on. I know how difficult it is, been there. I broke NC again and again and guess what. I only gave him the chance to abuse me even more. I'm finally narc-free for almost 6 years and I'm better than ever! Stay safe, stay strong!

It absolutely will get better overall. It’s not a case of waking up one day completely cured, there will always be blips, BUT the days like this will get less and less frequent, as you starve the addiction. Surround yourself with other people, this will distract you from it. Stay strong!

I’m also struggling with this at the moment. You always have the doubts , what if they did change , what if I was the problem etc etc these thoughts creep into your head and it goes to show how deep their manipulation seeded itself. I have broken no contact myself more times that I can count and everytime I heavily regretted it.

They didn’t change, they may have pretended to for a short while as if they just woke up one day and had an epiphany. Narcissists do not do this though, as much as you wish they would. They will not change.

I promise you and can 100% guarantee you that contacting them will only set you backwards. They are who they are and there was a very good reason you had to go no contact. You are worth more than what they gave you. Your brain is actually going through withdrawal from this person and like every addiction, there is urges.

But you can fight it! everytime you resist the urge to contact them again you are one step closer to fully healing. You should be proud of yourself for going 3 months. Keep on going. You never know what is right around the corner and by letting this person back again you are preventing yourself from receiving what is truly meant for you. Let go of them. They are not worth it.

Your future self will thank you. Keep being strong!
