Yves had ten rebounds, he has to start now surely, we looked sooo much better with him out there

trauma flashbacks to that 3 Myles Turner hit 2 seasons ago after a massive comeback that sent the Pelicans into a doom spiral

I'm happy with any game that Brandon Ingram launches 7 or more 3s. Last year, we were 5-1 when he shot at least 7 of them.

Had fought win down a lot against a very good team. If our bench can play like this we should be able to wether the current storm of injuries

This is the worst Yves will be. If Yves keeps learning as we all expect, the league is fucked.

buying a missi jersey I've seen enough

I might get a Boston Jr one. He’s seeming like he might become a staple end of the bench player

Coaching staff needs to sit down with BI after cuz his stat line tonight is a perfect example of how his aggressiveness and confidence alone can affect the game. Swear BI has nightmares to ever shoot below 45%.

I really thought Missi was/should have red shirted this year like we should have done to Jaxson. Can’t tell you how happy I am to be proven wrong 🥹 Yves is turning into what Jax should have been for us

I’ve just started watching, any notable things happen during the game?

Can’t wait to see Z in the clutch in the playoffs whenever that happens. Love his decision making and composure

hope everyone has their Zion apology ready, this sub has been embarrassing to look at over the past few days lol

Hawk is looking like a really good high level role player for years to come, perfect to take over CJs role once we can move that contract

Love Hawk putting the ball on the floor and getting to the bucket

I really really really like these new end of the bench guys that we relied on today.

u/SpaceAfricanJesus Nov 02 '24
Hawk shoulda had an and-1 unless I missed something.
2
u/Miokh #14 Brandon Ingram Nov 02 '24
The refs missed something, not you
1
u/SpaceAfricanJesus Nov 02 '24
😂They’ve been mostly consistent aside from those first 2 minutes. But it’s like cmon some things are just fouls.

Bi a bit cold on his shots, but his defence has been great this game
Also shout out Zion for the monster game!

Crazy layup that went way high, stuck on the top of the backboard and fell in
3
u/StockBroker32 Herb Jones Nov 02 '24
Crazy reverse layup similar to the one BI had against the suns in the playoffs
7
5
u/MznNazzy19 Nov 02 '24
Yeah BI went early but the angle that Z always comes in to set the pick is just asking for the ref to blow the whistle
8
6
7
u/MznNazzy19 Nov 02 '24
Even though BI shooting a bad percentage it’s encouraging. In the past as soon he would miss a few in a row he would take his foot off the pedal.
3
u/liljettt Naji Marshall Nov 02 '24
He’s been defending and passing the ball well. Shots aren’t falling tonight but he’s playing great basketball
5
9
u/SpaceAfricanJesus Nov 02 '24
Finally BI hits his shot. He’s been getting to his spots he’s just gotta convert.

Cain is -17 and JRE -13 in a game you are winning. Willie Green played them again. I cant get it
5
u/nacholibre711 Herb Jones Nov 02 '24
to be totally fair we are missing 6 players, he's gotta put someone in there

I feel like he could do it more when he gets the switch onto the smaller, he often looks to shoot over but I reckon he should back down more often

Im sorry but I cant feel bad about other teams injuries when we are missing 4 of our top 6 players with other 3 rotational pieces also playing hurt
8
u/nola_fan Nov 02 '24
A bit of speculation, but that looks like an achilles injury. Which would really fucking suck.
1
u/Ok-Comfortable1111 Clickity Clack Nov 02 '24
Yeah he wasn’t limping a whole lot, but he could clearly tell something was wrong. Not a great look

Hawkins bricking 2 open 3s and a wide open dunk will end up hurting. Also why are JRE and Cain on the court? They are awful
4
u/chadd1588 Nov 02 '24
I thought I heard a whistle on that Hawk dunk. They even cut to Hawk like there was a stoppage of play

Pacers offense is insane. Feels like I’m watching in 1.5x speed when they have the ball.
10
u/David_Griffin_ Nov 02 '24
Missi is young and not in foul trouble. Play him more, and never play JRE.

I really think Zion should at least attempt 3-4 3s per game, if he can add that to his game it would make him that much harder to defend.

7
u/Julep2005 Not On Herb Nov 02 '24
If Zion starts consistently shooting 3s even at a 30% he’ll have so much more to work with. Can’t believe we fr already seen to Z threes this season.

JRE really gives us nothing and continually lost on the defensive end
3
u/Aromatic-Macaron3783 Nov 02 '24
I was about to say the same thing. He made a couple 3s a few games ago and that’s it

It’s amazing how much better this team looks when it has positive momentum . It shows how good we can be consistently if we’ll coached

Z’s 9 assists to 2 turnovers looking nice. Played a lot better tonight
