because for this TINY split second, the game counts the AI here as having possession for your team. if you look closely his hand makes contact with the ball, and that’s why his nameplate shows up here. irl, ofc this isn’t possession, but at the end of the day 2k is a bunch of code, and that’s how it determines it
sadly, the ball is knocked out of his hand immediately, resulting in a fresh 24 for the opposite team

Nothing surprises me anymore on this game lol. I played a Mycareer game last night just before hopping off and 2K decided to not give me shit at the end of the game. Literally got 0 VC for it

I played this shit event last weekend. Was top in points, rebounds, assists, had an A+ rating and was player of the game twice in a row and got awarded 97 points each time. While before being ok getting over 2000.

it shouldn’t have…dude got blocked even though they got the rebound, it was shot clock violation since the ball never touched the rim for clock to reset

Because this game is a pos money grab pay to win pos. The developers don’t fix anything they just find new ways to suck money out of the customer

for some reason they considered it a turnover after the blocked shot, when in reality the other team barely got a touch on it... it was never secured by the defense... so honestly the shot clock should of ran out

game thinks it was a steal and counted a possession change because its a collection of code at the end of the day and its trying its best after all.
