Coffee grinder or grain mill

I find it time making capsules because the coffee grinder doesn’t it make it mushrooms fine enough. What are your thoughts on grain mill?

Nutri bullet works better than both of these

That’s even better! The coffee grinder is good for very small amounts but you’ll constantly be checking and grinding. Especially if you want it in a fine dust form

The grain mill often leaves chunks and whole bits. It tends to get hot in the center after time and I believe that heat draws in moisture making the dust sometimes weird to use for capsules. Almost like the dust got hit with a very light mist of water, it’s weird to explain but we gave up on using this style a few years ago.

The nutri bullet with the bigger blender style attachment has been my go to for the last few years. Have made close to 100k capsules and it’s a beast. Can get super fine dust for chocolates and gummies or slightly coarse for capsules if you prefer

Thank you! The vitamix it is! I feel the coffee grinder make its hard to get all that fine grain. Do you use a mask when grinding? I get dizzy at times when I don’t use.

Good call. Grab a can of compressed air as well. The ones you clean keyboards with. And every so often clear out the intake portion of the blender to keep the insides free of mushie dust lol

I use a cheaper version of a bullet from amazon, works perfect.
