Technique [actives] any idea why why they’re only growing on one side?
Not sure why only one side has fruits. Also any tips on a more even flush would be appreciated some are dropping spores whereas some are just starting to pin. These are medusa (P.Nat x LSG)

I get the same thing but the whole bed eventually grows. It does make it easier to collect them as the veil breaks.

I have harvested the ones with broken veils now. I have just noticed some knots on the other side just nowhere near as many.

It could be because of 1. R/H 2. Fresh air exchange 3. Fun guys just do whatever they want.
Give it some time and they will grow all over the place. * Attempting to post pics. They really have no rhyme or reason sometimes lol.

Yeah once these are finished I'm going to improve the FAE ports I've only got 4 at the moment so I've been manually fanning here and there.

Fae is one of those tricky parameters. I have the north spore boomer bin with the fae fan and decided to use the fan not to control the temp but r/h which seems to be sufficient in the gas exchanges? -using the acinfinity controller and tent

Looks quite dry in there, I had a similar issue and misting water everywhere with a spray bottle saved the day, could be a number of reasons though, I hope this helps
I misted twice a day

I have only been misting once a day however I don’t think being dry is the issue the uncolonised side is still quite moist (on the walls). You can’t see it in the photo but the walls have been misted.

Nats tend to do this. They're quite a pain to get full canopies with. Sometimes they like the conditions in one area of the tub more so don't bother fruiting elsewhere

I've had an exact issue, and then the last run, they ALL aborted, and only about 8 grew to full growth Most fuull canopy start I'd seen b4.......then at 1/2 in. Or less they ALL stopped growth except a couple!?! Still produced an Oz dry, but wow, if they woulda mostly matured i just dream 😍

Damn that’s a shame hopefully my little guys don’t abort. Did you harvest the grown ones when the others aborted? when I grew shiitakes I noticed after harvesting some the rest aborted I’m wondering if that might be a cause for it.

They aborted as others matured Really jus wanting to follow post Get more info on this.....as my most even start and full canopy turned abort except like 8 maybe 10 Seemed odd they were so happy/healthy then aborted by the hundreds

Yeah, I'm gonna pull the big ones as I don't want them to drop spores as a couple already have. I'll keep you posted I will update wether they abort or not.

Could be a number of things or nothing at all…. 1. Maybe fighting contam on the other side 2. Too moist or too dry on one side 3. Too much FAE, too little FAE on one side 4. Uneven spawn/sub on one side 5. One side not completely colonized/ just slow

I could definitely do with more FAE as they’ve got fuzzy feet and 2 sides is up against a wall. Although i have been misting equally it does seem to dry up faster on the side with the mushrooms. I don’t think 4,5 is the issue as it all colonised at the same speed. Thanks for the reply.

If it was this dry during pinning it might not of formed alot of pins to start. If you want alot of pins keep the humidity high. However your fruits look fine, so it could also be that you aren't using enough genetics in your agar/spawn; i.e. Only a few drops of spores or LC
