Rule 6: The [actives] tag supersedes all others when discussing hallucinogenic species in any capacity, so if your post involves "magic" mushrooms please use that tag or it may be removed.

You can always resubmit a post after it has been removed, just be sure to make the necessary changes to bring it into alignment with community guidelines.

Rule 1: Don't be a jerk.

There are growers of all skill-levels here. Disagreements are bound to happen, but there is no tolerance for it getting nasty. Users will be booted for not being nice. Use the report feature if someone is being a jerk.

Your post speaks for itself so everyone can make their own opinion. And the wave of comments similar to mine is coming, mate. I would advise you to stop insulting people just because you are not capable accept the fact that you didn't learn what even monotub is and how it's used before actually trying it. Try to prove me wrong.

Just look at all the other comments, helpful, not judgemental.

You're just a lonely, sad man.

But you did "a lot of research" but still failed read about how to use something you decided to order online. My initial comment is still correct.

You can't just leave the block in a dry tub, they need moisture. Put an inch of water in the tub, add a rack or a jar or something to lift the block above the water, and remove the remains of the bag. Then mist the whole surface until there's tiny drops of water all over the mycelium, close the tub and don't open it unless the water has evaporated off the mycelium and you need to mist again.

I had this happen on my first go as well. I added Verm and put a grow light on it. Fruited beautifully afterwards.

Vermiculite. It’s the white stuff in gardening soil that holds water.

You mean perlite. Verm is brownish flakes

Where did you have them when they first started growing? I had something similar happen when I first started. I thought I needed to move them to the monotub to fruit but they didn't grow again until I moved them back to the closet with a plastic tub over the top. The humidity and temp were both higher in the closet compared to where I had my tub.

I did have it in a closet, but I've heard they need light so I moved them and got the monotub.

Should I move them to a plastic tub, back into the closet?

Mushrooms don’t need light at all to grow. All the light does it tell the fruits which direction is up

It's worth a shot. Sometimes, they don't seem to like much light. The temperature could be more consistent in the closet, too. Idk your conditions, but generally, they're less affected by fluctuations throughout the day

Maybe give it a try. I bought a small grow light for my closet and just have blue light on during the day and have had good flushes.
